Looking for UFOs in 2007

It’s been an interesting start to the new year, with the report of the UFO hovering over the O’Hare airport, the space junk burning up over Colorado and Comet McNaught passing by overhead, it’s enough to spark anyone’s imagination. I’ve always been fascinated by the night sky, I’ve spent more hours than I can count staring up until my neck ached, hoping to see something unusual, perhaps the curse of growing up in the 70’s. So it is with child-like wonder I scan the news for UFO sightings and all things strange and unusual and lately it’s been a veritable feast for speculation.

The O’Hare report was one of Chicago Tribune’s most read articles; people are fascinated by the idea that life out there truly exists. In a New Years AP poll 1 in 5 of those questioned felt 2007 would be the year we discover extraterrestrial life. The news has always been sprinkled with strange sightings and most laugh it off as outrageous, or so I thought, but according to a FOX poll, 55% percent of those asked believe the government is withholding information about UFOs.
