HOW TO MAKE A BETTER FUTURE FOR YOUR CHILDREN. MAKE A SMALL BUT CRITICAL DONATION TODAY!

Joseph Raglione
Gentle readers of this American Chronicle, please send before next Saturday, a small donation to the Democratic Party's election campaign! They promised they would not ask large private companies for money. Republicans are asking, yes, but Democrats are not! Democrats depend on small donations from millions of supporters in order to claim they represent the people of the United States, and not the largest and wealthiest private companies in North America.

Not helping the Democratic Party is like saying to your children, "Hey kids, as soon as you are old enough, you are going to work as under-paid and non-unionized affiliate workers, with no health insurance, no pension plans and no social-security. Eat your Tea and Crackers and learn the Tea Bagger's anthem. 'Down with the Democratic government of the people and for the people'....>

Dear Joseph,

A little more than two weeks from today will be one of the biggest filing deadlines of this election cycle. On September 30, we'll know whether we have what it takes to win the battle for the Senate.

If you listen to the pundits, you'd think this election was just about number crunching - how many for them, how many for us. But Rand Paul and Sharron Angle aren't just numbers. They're real threats to everything we've come to count on in this country, from Social Security to civil rights.

This moment is so critical because this is when we figure out how much we can devote to each race. We've got to hit our goal of raising $290,524 by midnight Saturday so we don't have to cede an inch to those from the hard right who want to destroy all that we've worked so hard to accomplish - like expanding health care and reforming Wall Street.

Please help us make this crucial goal of raising $290,524 before midnight Saturday so we have what it takes to beat back the extremists and hold on to our majority.

I remember this phase of the election cycle two years ago, when I was head of the DSCC. There was plenty of talk about how the races would play out, but the bottom line was that anything could've happened. Fortunately for us, the Democrats expanded our majority and gave President Obama a Congress he could work with.

Then, like now, the DSCC had a winning strategy. We can apply that strategy to this year's election, but only if we have the kind of grassroots support we had in 2008. And we need everyone on board this time, because we're up against a new enemy: a whole slew of right-wing, third-party groups that have committed to spending $400 million this election cycle.

You have a choice. You can allow the pundits' predictions to become a self-fulfilling prophecy, or you can stand up today and use your power to create a future that we all can be proud of.

We are in the midst of a battle for the Senate, and the DSCC is the command center. It is the one organization that is working in races throughout the country to protect and defend our majority in the Senate. Now we need you to stand with us.

Click here to rush your donation of $5 or more to the DSCC so we can reach our goal of raising $290,524 by midnight Saturday.

If Democrats can pull together and unite under this cause, I know we can win. It's what we have to do, because the stakes are simply too high.

Sincerely,

Sen. Chuck Schumer

Hello Joseph,

People who say the Republican Party in 2010 has no alternatives for America are only getting it half right - while Washington Republicans in Congress have said nothing but 'no' - it's what their candidates want to say 'yes' to that's really scary.

In Nevada, their Senate candidate talks about people turning to "Second Amendment remedies" if the extreme right doesn't get its way. Rand Paul in Kentucky wants to abolish all federal funding for education. Sarah Palin's hand-picked Senate candidate in Alaska thinks unemployment benefits are unconstitutional.

We have to stop this surge in extremism before it goes any further. Please contribute right now to stop them.

One thing we know for certain: the last thing we need is more radical versions of George Bush running Congress.

When someone is attacked, when good Democrats are fighting this dangerous swell of extremism, we need the resources to be able to help them.

My organization, Campaign For Our Country, is dedicated to helping candidates across the country at a moment's notice, sending much-needed money to campaigns that need it when they need it.

But we need your help to get those resources, to raise the money that we can give to good Democrats across the country. We rely on you.

So please give $25, $50, or $100 today to keep our country moving forward.

We can defeat the wave of radicalism energizing the right wing; but it's a hard slog and we can't do it without you.

Thank you,

John Kerry

About Joseph Raglione
Hi! I am the executive director of the World Humanitarian Peace and Ecology Movement. I began as an environmental activist in 1969 and basically, never stopped! I Graduated College in Social Science and registered as a non-profit corporation in 1988 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. I am one of a very few non-profit and generic freedom loving journalists left on Earth, and I continue today to study and to understand the problems connected with human activity on this Planet. My affiliates include: GreenPeace, the Nature Conservancy, the Bio-diversity organization, the Sierra Club, the David Suzuky foundation, the WWF, Amnesty International, World Vision, the IUF organization; as well as the wonderful and independant N.A.S.A. scientists studying our Planet's weather systems. Of course NASA also studies the mysteries of the Eternal Universe with satelite generated images and, over the years, have generously allowed me and thousands of our world scientists to study over their shoulder's via the Internet.
In spite of some past U.S. government repression, NASA continues to provide solid evidence of global warming.
NASA has provided me with pictorial evidence of Rainforest deforestation within: Jakarta, Peru, Africa, Brazil and even in Western Canada!
The motivation for such destruction continues to be (often illegally) for: lumber, for bio-fuels, and for Cattle ranching. Today, the perceived future profits for Palm Oil and for Bio-Fuels are prime motivators for environmental destruction. Small crop farming also contributes but that may be changing as farmers learn to protect the Rain-Forest.
With NASA imaging, there is proof that large city heat traps are helping global warming, and with (infrared images)there is proof that several hundred million gas burning vehicles (including ship and airplanes) presently create a hugh quantity of pollution tracks across both Oceans and Sky.
With oil, gas, Coal and Bio-Fuel heated buildings around the world creating C02 emissions, and with Methane release from all animal species...giant Ozone holes have been created and continue to exist above the North and South Poles. Ozone holes allow the Sun to radiate the Ice Caps and to accelerate the Ice melt, which releases more Methane into the atmosphere, which continues to thin out the Ozone. A vicious circle created by human need and also, unhappily, by human greed!
I have been asked to write to the Prime Minister of Japan to ask him to stop the murderous assault on endangered Whales. Every year, thousands of Whales are killed in the Antarctic with GreenPeace volunteers placing themselves between the Whales and the grenade tipped harpoons, and peope like myself, (I did not forget this is my "Bio," putting my old neck on the line attempting to change the situation by writing thousands if not millions of words!
Are words dangerous?
Over three hundred journalists were killed within the last ten years. You tell me if words are dangerous!
As I write these words, the desperate and starving in Darfur are waiting for rescue. I motivated a few kind hearted California Actors to visit the region and to report back. They did! They then created the Darfur coalition and they continue to fight to save the innocent victims trapped in tents in the desert of the Sudan. Darfuri's were attacked and moved from their homes because somebody believes there is Oil under the Sudan desert.
As I write this, a few sick and desperate people in Iraq are wrapping bombs around themselves in order to die in the name of God, and the list of humanitarian disasters continues. I also contribute information to the Reuter's news service. It is time for a change. Please help make it happen!
