The ´big business´ of 9/11

America is never relieved! One controversy or problem after the other. There is no doubt that 9/11 caused an irreversible scar on the minds and hearts of Americans and all free people world wide who believe in equality, tolerance and unity.
A group of terrorists – who happened to be Arabs and Muslims – decided to hit back on the US for some reasons they best know, but the problem is that they never put in their minds – that if they have any – the possible consequences on the image of Muslims and Islam on the planet.
Those idiotic terrorists did not mind but their own business; their own tactics and their own ego against the super power; the US. I guess that many Americans now know that the relationship between different US agencies – particularly the CIA – and the leader of the terrorist group ´Al Qaeda´ goes back to some decades before the 9/11 it self. That relation sometimes proved to be fruitful for the US and resulted in huge achievements specifically the collapse of the former Soviet Union and consequently the whole eastern communist bloc.
However, Bin Laden decided to celebrate that victory in his own way by establishing a state – and probably a Caliphate – where he could exercise his power on more than a billion and a half Muslims ..
Bin Laden suddenly started challenging his old friends – the Americans – in different spots in the Middle East. At the end President Clinton decided to get rid of him, but the missile missed Bin Laden so as to give him a room to hit back in such brutal, but well-planned way.
Since then and the US is going everywhere to find her enemy, but unfortunately until today that enemy is still tough and causing troubles to the US and many other Arab and Muslim nations with its sophisticated network worldwide.
All the Arab and Muslim nations gave hand to the US in the fight against that brutal group. From tiny Muslim nations such as the Maldives to the biggest ones like Indonesia, Saudi Arabia and Egypt, different aids were given to the US. In spite of that, there are still some people who want to put the blame on Islam and the whole Muslim world for what happened nine years ago. Those people enjoy messing up between the US and her allies in the Arab and Muslim world.
Unfortunately, the 9/11 anniversary became the cash cow for some war profiteering people like some Coptic groups or someone like Geert Wilders or other extremists in the US and elsewhere. The story of the burning of the Quruan, though ended up peacefully, clearly symbolizes the kind of hatred and discrimination that some groups are trying to promote in the US and else where against Muslims.
At this important time of the year I would like to express my fullest support and sympathy to the families of the victims of the 9/11 brutal and inhumane attack, and pray to God to save humanity from evil doers who try to spoil the lives of others and spread hatred and the culture of retribution everywhere.
