PODS OF CLEVELAND SUPPORTS THE CURE
The Wolstein Center is the new home to the Komen Northeast Ohio Race and provides a great starting point for a scenic race course. Komen Northeast Ohio brings together members of its 22 county service area on Race day with a single goal: to make an impact in the fight against breast cancer.
The Race for the Cure® is Komen´s primary local fundraiser. The annual race draws over 20,000 participants, including 2,000 breast cancer survivors, to raise funds to find a cure for breast cancer. Komen Northeast Ohio hopes to raise half of the expected $1.7 million goal through the fundraising efforts of individuals.
"Since our very first Race in 1994, Northeast Ohio united in a promise to end breast cancer forever and all these years later we are still dedicated to that vision," explains Diane Montville, 2010 Race Chair. "Our fight continues this year as we celebrate our 17th anniversary."
"PODS is excited to assist the Susan G. Komen Northeast Ohio Race for the Cure® with PODS storage container donations for the event," said Bernard Stuczynski, general manager of PODS of Cleveland. "We want to be a part of the efforts to build awareness and to demonstrate support for those battling breast cancer."
