The Democrat Problem

Jann Burner
Been thinking about the Democrats and what the "Problem" is. Edgar Cayce used to describe a race of beings on Earth way before Atlantis. These beings were very evolved and lived in cities deep underground and they had a perfect culture. Sort of a "California Culture" without the beach. What finally did them in was not an external enemy but their own lack of aggression and general passivity. They, in a sense, became so politically correct that their own immune systems finally turned on them and ate them! I suspect this is what is happening with the Democratic party right now. They are being consumed by their own Political Correctness! They can't seem to buy lunch without ten meetings and a quorum vote. They seem, to put it bluntly, not to have any "balls"!

Dare I utter the ultimate criticism? They have become way too female. There it is. So politically incorrect, I am embarrassed, but none the less. The Republicans have become all that is "Wrong" with Men, and the Democrats are becoming the ultimate in feminization or what "should" be right in the world. Not left brain and right brain, but pure male/female, aggressive/passive. Dr. Spock (the child doctor, not the Star Trek officer) run amok! And once the Aggressive side gets the upper hand, it is very hard for the feminine aspect to turn the tables.

In a Sane World, the two aspects would, of course, work hand in hand to form a balanced approach to The World. But in this skewed reality we inhabit today, it will do the Democrats absolutely NO good to simply point out what is right and wrong. The Animals are running the zoo! The reason there were so many Red States is simple. Many people like SIMPLE answers. Many people do not like to entertain all aspects of a question before making a decision. It sounds pretentious, looks elitist and feels confusing. It simply won't fit on a bumper sticker! How many Angels can dance on the head of a pin? Who cares? The combination of thirty years of Rap Music (the dumbing down of American youth and the utter destruction of black culture) and the rabid infusement of lawyers into our society, plus the explosion of broken homes, single moms, suburbia and general political correctness have all gone to create a very fecund soil for a potential fascist take over. And unfortunately in our culture, the media is encouraging, not a balanced, considerate, thoughtful assessment of issues, but a quick, simple, thirty second sound bite which is intended to ruffle as few feathers as possible.

And this is why I can't understand why the Republicans didn't simply GIVE the presidency to Kerry in the last election. If the Republicans would have simply let the Democrats have the Presidency in 2004, the public would have been willing to make the first Republican to step forward in 2008, KING! Just to get rid of the Democrats. But, the Bush team, (and I suspect they may have done this on their own, without consulting the "higher powers") simply could not turn loose of the wheel and this WILL do the Republicans in. Short of a total fascist take over and 24/7/365 martial law, there is NO WAY a Republican will EVER hold the presidency again, at least not in our lifetime. Thus I fear the paradigm edges ever closer to the Hitler years. All it will take will be a total collapse of the dollar, general depression AND domestic terrorism and a crazy man with balls the size of Tombstones, will step forward. And it won't be George Bush. I fear that in the future we will look back nostalgically to the Bush Years, like we look back on 1970's TV and "Laugh In". How could we ever have been that naïve?

The years from 2008-2012 are going to be an utter disaster any way you slice it. The term challenging would be a gross understatement. From an ever expanding War to a failing economy, collapsing dollar, radical climatic changes, the outsourcing of American jobs, invasion of illegal immigrants and terrorism on a global scale! It looks like a Democrat is about to step up to the plate and we very well may be looking at the last American president…
