The Hypocrisy OF Illegal Immigration

Ken Hughes
Too many in America are blaming illegal immigration for many of the supposed problems around us. Others hold out the carrots enticing them to come. The biggest enticements are jobs, even at minimum wage [illegals don’t work long for minimum wage] or better it far exceeds what they would earn in their respective countries. Jobs aren’t the only incentive, in many communities the police are prohibited from stopping and questioning residence status. Social programs given without regard for residence status. It’s as though once across the border Illegals are home free. One foot on US soil and they have citizenship rights.

Now it’s moved beyond simply jobs and social services available to them. The Banking Industry has announced they’ll be offering home loans to illegal immigrants in the future. Automobile dealers have been offering leases for new cars for some months. How much more can be done to entice illegal immigration?

Just who is it disrespecting our laws, Latinos or Americans who benefit from illegal immigration? The threat of terrorists crossing our southern borders is greatly aggregated. Terrorists can come from any direction, so far most have come legally by air, with the approval of our government. Many come through Canada. Given, some may come from Mexico, that doesn’t qualify accusing everyone who illegally crosses the border of being a terrorist. It’s a tactic used by government throughout history. Scare the hell out of the population until they can decide on a plan to correct the situation whatever that is.

I’ve always been apposed to criminalizing the search for opportunity. Most illegals come to America to share in the American dream. They don’t intend being a burden, rather they want to contribute. They don’t understand why when there’re jobs available, people are apposed to them coming and filling those jobs. It’s another of those cultural contradictions that exists between Latino’s and Gringos. How can we encourage and reject at the same time.

I’m in favor of securing the borders North and South. There needs to be realistic rules governing entry in to this country. There needs to be rules of conduct by citizens of this country that’ are followed. We can’t expect immigrants to follow rules our own citizens ignore.

We need to bring the Army home to protect our borders, not serving in areas that should be protecting themselves. Such as Germany, Japan, The Bodkins, and South Korea, who knows how many other places? America’s being invaded, just as surely as if it were a foreign Army coming at us.

Many truths need to be recognized, a lot of responsibilities need to be assigned if we’re to survive this invasion.
