YOU CAN ACHIEVE IT! ! !
Mr. Johnson was married for couple of years living in a ramshackle apartment with his wife and two kids. He worked at the mill and gets a low pay at the end of every week. He and his loving wife had a good dream of getting a good job and moving into their family house. For over two decades, things were not working as they expected.
Until one faithful day, he went into his bedroom, thought about his position and how to move ahead in life. For over 30 minutes, he was alone on his bed. He said, “Something is wrong somewhere, change of mind is all I need towards my goal.” He concluded, “I must believe in myself to achieve anything and everything in life.”
After three months of reaching a conclusion, his creative mind, belief, persistence and passionate dreams began to work magic for him. His attitude towards his job changed, he could see his inner ability to surmount all obstacles and fulfill his goals. In less than six months, his long-awaited dreams became reality!
Until you BELIEVE IT you can’t SEE IT. Believe it and you will have it.
Remember, whatever the mind can conceive, a man can achieve. Your colleagues and associates who are richer are not better than you, or had bigger head than you. Financial freedom is a choice, once you believe it, gradually it will manifest.
It is a dream of every man to be healthy and wealthy, but the reality is that we all cannot be rich. I have met individuals who have good dreams and visions but does nothing to achieve their dreams. Where do you belong? What have you done yesterday to better your today? Do you believe you can make it? Or you are still complaining about the government, education or your age? All your fault finding attitude must stop. Have a change of mind, believe you can make it, your destiny is not in the hand of any man but in your own hands.
Henry Ford said, “if you think you can or you think you can’t you are probably right.” The Holy book recorded that, “As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he.” Right now, you are a product of your own thought. Clearly money has something to do with life. In fact, they've a lot in common, is either you have it or your don’t.
The bad news is that we were not taught about money while in school, but the good news is that ordinary people like Andrew Carnegie, Paul J. Getty, Henry Ford, Napoleon Hill have showed us the path to wealth. Say this loudly, “I am financially FREE, no matter my present situation”. You and I must wake up from the dream of self deception and face reality. The best that an individual can do is to concentrate on what he or she can do, in the course of a burning effort to do it better.
Financial freedom is our destination but change of mind is the starting point. It is the nature of a man as he grows older to protest against change, particularly changes for the better. Your mind is like a TV Set that has only two stations. It is either “Positive Channel” or “Negative Channel”. Watch positive channel every minute and you see good things happening to your life. I tried this and it worked miracle for me.
Every negative things that has happened to you, identify, list, gather them and set them on fire! Forget about them completely and FOCUS on the POSITIVE things. The successful preacher wrote that, “Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before.” Phil 3:13.
Here is how to make your mind work for you. Tomorrow morning, wake up in the wee hours of the day and say this boldly, “Today is the HAPPIEST day of my life” and “I am highly FAVOURED today” and laugh out loudly as if you mean it. Mark that day, something unique must happen to you. Death and life are in the power of the tongue.
US writer and poet has this to say, “And I said to the man who stood at the gate of the year: "Give me a light that I may tread safely into the unknown". And he replied: "Go out into the darkness and put your hand into the hand of God. That shall be to you better than light and safer than a known way". You cannot solve a problem on the same level it was created. If YOU don’t believe in yourself, nobody will.
Let me share this story with you. Lincoln was born on February 12, 1809, near Hodgenville, Kentucky, the son of Nancy Hanks and Thomas Lincoln, pioneer farmers. At the age of two he was taken by his parents to nearby Knob Creek and at eight to Spencer County, Indiana. The following year his mother died.
In 1831, after moving with his family to Macon County, Illinois, he struck out on his own, taking cargo on a flatboat to New Orleans, Louisiana. He then returned to Illinois and settled in New Salem, a short-lived community on the Sangamon River, where he split rails and worked in a shop. He gained the respect of his fellow townspeople, and was elected captain of his company in the Black Hawk War (1832). Returning from the war, he began an unsuccessful venture in shop keeping that ended when his partner died. The story of his romance with Ann Rutledge, a local young woman whom he knew briefly before her early death, is unsubstantiated.
In 1833 he was appointed postmaster but had to supplement his income with surveying and various other jobs. At the same time he began to study law. Defeated in 1832 in a race for the state legislature, Lincoln was elected on the Whig ticket two years later and served in the lower house from 1834 to 1841.
In 1860 the Republicans, anxious to attract as many different factions as possible, nominated Lincoln for the presidency on a platform of slavery restriction, internal improvements, homesteads, and tariff reform. In a campaign against Douglas and John C. Breckinridge, two rival Democrats, and John Bell, of the Constitutional Union party, Lincoln won a majority of the electoral votes and was elected president.
Abraham Lincoln had so many setbacks and tragedies while growing-up, but he focused on positive side of life and eventually achieve his dream – being the 16th President of United States of America. It is your turn to laugh and ACHIEVE YOUR DREAMS!!!
You can do anything in this world if you are prepared to take the consequences.”
