Take two minutes to fight global hunger

William Lambers
With summer in full swing, you might not have much time to take action on social causes. However, there is one way to take a direct action against global hunger and it only takes about 2 minutes of your time.

Just simply go to Save the Children's advocacy page for the Roadmap to End Global Hunger legislation (H.R. 2817).

This is a bill, in the House of Representatives, that would create a White House office on global hunger and elevate this issue within the government. Increased emphasis would be placed on fighting child hunger in particular.

At the Save the Children page there is a pre-printed letter which can be sent to your elected official. Or you can write your own letter in the space provided. When ready,  just fill out your contact information to the right, click send this message, and off it will go to your representative. You can also contact them by going to www.house.gov.

If enough people contacted Congress, it can make the Roadmap to End Global Hunger a reality.
