A longstanding website that explores unconventional and leading-edge phenomena was recently redesigned and updated.

UFODigest.com, based in Ontario, Canada, launched its new version in an effort to continue to present "in-depth and quality research and resources on the UFO phenomenon," the site notes.

"This website aims to raise awareness about the UFO phenomenon, and to show the extent of serious, quality and scientific information and evidence available on the subject."

Editors Dirk Vander Ploeg and Robert Morningstar have been working hard to launch the new website and have a message for readers: "Welcome to the brand new UFO Digest! We are really proud of this version and hope that the extra features we have added will have you coming back to us daily."

"This site is designed for your ease of use. UFO Digest is now a community of authors, readers, writers, photographers and videographers. A place where you can share your ideas, thoughts, criticism and submissions with others sharing your enthusiasm for UFOs and the paranormal. We have added a new forum, to go along with our comments, polls and our ever popular newsletter."

FASCINATING TOPICS

But UFO Digest does not simply examine the UFO subject. Other categories of forward-leaning studies include the Bermuda Triangle, climate change, conspiracies, crop circles, cryptozoology, the Da Vinci Code, ghosts, hollow Earth theory and the Holy Grail.

Additional topics include lost civilizations, Mars, space, time travel and the broad category of paranormal. Subcategories linked to the UFO phenomena include alien abduction and cattle mutilations. The website also presents book and movie reviews.

UFO Digest has recruited researchers and writers with interests and backgrounds in these subjects to contribute articles that are of interest to readers.

And, readers are interested. According to UFO Digest, "We have steadily increased our readership and currently receive over 4.0 million page views annually, which are tracked and verified as accurate by AddWebStats, a third-party provider."

Professional and paraprofessional writers are wanted as contributors. According to the website, "The UFO Digest online magazine is offering writing opportunities with UFO Digest throughout the United States, Canada, England and the world. Contact us at publisher@ufodigest.com and let us know you want to regularly publish your work with us, or tell a friend."

UFO Digest notes that "These are unpaid, yet rewarding opportunities. Writers may regularly submit their work on a variety of subjects. Authors retain the copyright of their work and may publish the identical article elsewhere if desired."

NEW MEDIA

The updated UFO Digest is another example of expanding types of new online media that are filling a void in so-called mainstream media.

Edge-science subjects that many conventional media outlets don't cover, or don't cover adequately, can be explored on websites like UFO Digest. In addition, the new feature allowing comments and discussion makes for a comprehensive experience of give and take for readers.

The new UFO Digest is continuing its improvements and evolution as the launch of the updated site goes forward.

And, the site is up to date on current aspects of online information, including security. The site explains, "We are very conscious of your right to privacy regarding the information you supply to UFO Digest. At UFO Digest, our policy is to use the information you supplied to us only to better serve you. We are not going to sell your information to people who want to send you junk mail. We have adopted a comprehensive set of security measures to ensure that your personal, business and financial information is protected at all times."

So, enjoy the interesting, educational, thought-provoking and sometimes amazing information on UFODigest.com – "UFO and paranormal news from around the world."
