Olympic Pin Collectors [OPC] began as Gene & Eleanore´s Interiors in 1983, but changed its name in 1984 when the company began buying and selling collectible Olympics pins as well as other Olympic memorabilia. Soon the business sold a variety of collectible pins including those commemorating Major League Sports events, Disney activities and Hard Rock Cafés around the world. Participating in local, state, national pin collector shows, conventions, and expositions the company´s founder, Eugene Stovall, earned a well-deserved reputation for honesty and fair dealing. After successfully handling thousands of transactions over the Internet, Stovall earned the prestigious red star ranking from eBay.

After the publication of two pin guides, Stovall´s Guide to Media Pins and Stovall´s Guide to Disney Pins, OPC decided to commit its resources to the publications business. In 2005, OPC published Eugene Stovall´s first novel, Frank Yerby: A Victim´s Guilt, a 2007 IPPY Bronze Medal winner in the multiethnic category. Subsequently, Stovall has written three additional novels, Blood & Brotherhood: A Novel of Love In A Time Of Hate, The Idumean Covenant: A Novel Of The Fall Of Jerusalem and Cassandra´s Curse: A Black Life In A Police State. A fifth novel, Ra-Amen-Ptah: A Novel of the Seeing Waters, is currently being researched. These products, including the pin guides, give OPC a full product line with an ample supply of books, in its own in-house storage facility, from which to market. OPC also utilizes Baker and Taylor and Amazon.com as distribution partners. Internally funded, without any significant debt, OPC uses a cash basis accounting system. The company retains all publication rights, foreign and domestic, for all its products. This year the company has dedicated itself to expanding its market and seeking profitable marketing partnerships positioning OPC for a takeoff.
