The families of the world unite and speak out against Gardasil
The latest support group to hit the world is AAVP and this was set up in Spain by the families of the many Gardasil victims because the Spanish authorities are ignoring their people's cries. AAVP roughly translated into English stands for 'Association of Affected Young Women by HPV Vaccine' and their press release was released on Monday 4th of June 2010 and was given to me by Leslie Botha a member of TruthaboutGardasil
Spain Weighs In on HPV Vaccines
"AAVP (Association of Affected Young Women by HPV Vaccine) was created to support and assist young women adversely affected by HPV vaccines in response to lack of honest answers from Spanish Health Authorities and members of parliament who tried to convince families that HPV vaccines did not cause side effects. AAVP provides relevant advice and information in the quest for truth about the dangers of Gardasil and Cervarix.
AAVP repeatedly requested Spanish Health Authorities and Prime Minister, Mr Rodiguez Zapatero investigate HPV vaccine side effects. AAVP requested an interview with Health Minister, Mrs. Jiménez García Herrera. Requests have not even been acknowledged.
In July 2009, an HPV Vaccine Moratory was presented to the Valencian Community Health Council. On 23rd December 2009, 9,500 signatures were presented requesting side effects be recognised by Spanish Health Authorities.
The Spanish Agency of Medicines and Sanitary Products (AEMPS) informed AAVP that there were 508 reports of suspected vaccine adverse reactions as of September 15, 2009. Nobody told us that our daughters could experience: joint/muscle pains, loss of vision, paralysis, headaches, syncope, seizures, dizziness, nausea, or chronic fatigue. The great paradox is adverse reactions Health Authorities denied are included in the product technical leaflet - modified on several occasions – and also in the trials.
Spanish Health Authorities´ careless attitude cannot be justified by claiming ignorance because our daughters were not the first or only ones to have suffered adverse reactions. Thousands of similar reactions have been reported in the USA, Europe, India, Australia and New Zealand.
AAVP reports:
1.Cervical cancer death rate in Spain is 2.7/100,000
2.Long term vaccine efficacy has not been tested
3.Parents have not been informed about vaccine risks
4.Use must be with informed consent and complete information about risks and benefits
5.Exaggerated advertising creates confusion about Gardasil´s benefits
AAVP believes people should be informed of the following:
1. HPV vaccines do not prevent cervical cancer; at best, they protect against 4 out of 100 HPV strains
2. Most women infected with HPV do not develop cervical cancer, 90% of infected people clear them in less than 2 years
3. HPV vaccines will not protect women for life
4. Women can get other HPV infections that lead to cancers not covered by current vaccines
5. Women continue to need Pap tests throughout their lifetime
6. Serious adverse events, including death are associated with HPV vaccines
7. Advertising campaigns were designed to incite the greatest fear possible to promote vaccination compliance
World Governments and Spanish Health Authorities have convinced women that benefits outweigh the risks. Yet the effect gained from HPV vaccines cannot be determined for years to come since cervical cancer does not usually affect the young, and booster shots may be required for both vaccines.
People around the world were led to believe the initial vaccines protect a young woman for life. This is just not true. It appears our young girls are part of a huge "experiment." AAVP now works with TruthAboutGardasil.org to protect our daughters´ health and safety.

There is proof, that these are experimental vaccines and that they have been given to our children and young adults resulting in deaths like those that I have found on TruthaboutGardasil Memorial .
Those who have died following Gardasil vaccination
"Jenny Tetlock (California – Northern) was a 15-year-old girl battling a rapidly degenerative neurological disease that some MDs think MAY be linked to the HPV vaccine she received shortly before her first symptoms appeared. (There is no scientific proof one way or the other but Dr Diane Harper, leading researcher who helped design and carry out Phase II and Phase III safety and effectiveness studies to get Gardasil approved and acted as a consultant to Merck, believes that the possibility of a ´triggering of a genetic disorder within a family has to be considered seriously.'
Jenny passed away on March 15, 2009 surrounded by her family.
Jenny´s Journey gives more details of the events surrounding this young girl´s sudden illness following her Gardasil vaccination.
Moshella Roberts, 20, a student from Fayetteville State University, Fayetteville, (Carolina – North) She died from the Gardasil vaccination, her first day on the job at Trinity Home Care, April 5, 2008. Shelly appeared to have died in her sleep while on the job that morning.
Shelly was a funny, quiet and easy-going person.
Although she had a ´laid back´ personality, she loved to help other people. In her spare time, she enjoyed doing hair and spending time with family and friends. In High School she was a varsity cheerleader, an active volunteer for her community (Special Olympics, make-up artist for a major play, and various town functions) and she received her C.N.A, all while maintaining a honor status. She received her post-secondary education at Fayetteville State University, majoring in psychology.
During her sophomore year, she sought employment through a home health care agency, and suddenly died at her first day on the job, coincidentally four days after receiving the Gardasil vaccine.
Brooke Petkevicius (Florida) who was 19 when she died while at the University of California, Berkeley where she studied social work and was involved in many extracurricular activities including co-ed volleyball and ballroom dancing. She played on an intramural volleyball team, went to kickboxing classes. She also was a social welfare major. She died 14 days after her first dose of Gardasil from a pulmonary embolism or blood clot on March 26th, 2007. There is no family history of this.
Brooke´s story:
Brooke did not smoke, said her school friend, Megan Sedowski. "She was possibly one of the healthiest people I´ve ever met. She never did drugs and rarely drank alcohol. She worked out daily, and took a lot of classes at the gym. She never complained about anything, really, certainly not her health. She was an amazing, upbeat, caring, healthy young woman and her death was a complete shock." Brooke had dressed to go running with a friend because they were training for a half-marathon. She walked to the elevator, collapsed against the wall and had a seizure. Brooke was rushed to the hospital and passed away.
Brooke never had any problems with blood clots, nor did her family have any history of clotting problems. Subsequent tests of her younger sister and her mother showed nothing genetic. Brooke had no allergies, no tobacco use, and no past substance abuse problems. Drug tests came back negative. Cynthia Janak, who wrote this piece on Brooke, spoke to all her family. They told her what a wonderful, kind-hearted young woman she was. She had dreams and aspirations for her future and how her laughter was contagious and how her smile lit up a room. This was a girl who had it hard growing up, as many of us, but became a stronger person for it. The phrase Cynthia likes to use is "she took sour grapes and made fine wine."

For one victim the outrage and anger she felt about what she and her fellow sufferers have endured through having this vaccine, has become too much and she took it upon herself through the support group TruthaboutGardasil to release her own press release. This was released today Wednesday 11th June 2010 and this was given to me by Courtney. Courtney is another very brave young lady whose life was destroyed the day she decided to have the vaccine Gardasil. She feels that she is lucky to be alive. I would like to thank her for outstanding bravery.
What is Wrong with the Gardasil Girls?
"North Hollywood, CA. After making some adjustments, I am finally living on my own and working towards my master's degree in Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling. I decided to help people suffering the way I did. I truly believe the only reason I am alive is because of the support of my family, friends and my will to help others.Finding TruthAboutGardasil.org helped me understand I am not alone and not the only victim of Gardasil.
My name is Courtney. I had the first shot on Dec. 17, 2007. My mom is a cancer survivor and I was 22 and sexually active. Preventing cervical cancer sounded great. On Dec. 27th I became ill. I was throwing up and had an excruciating headache. The following morning, I went to a walk-in clinic and was told I had a migraine and a urinary tract infection and sent home.
After 10 hours of not moving from bed (not even to go to the bathroom), I began throwing up again. My mom decided I was dehydrated and drove me to the ER. Within 5 hours, I had fallen into a coma that lasted 9 days and then spent 14 days on a ventilator. After 10 days of testing, the doctor's determined Gardasil had caused acute disseminated encephalomyelitis (ADEM). I had lesions on almost every level of my brain. It took 1000 milligrams of steroids to revive me from the coma. When I woke up I was unable to move my legs and my short term memory was not functioning. After 18 days in ICU, I was transferred to an inpatient rehabilitation hospital. I had to relearn how to walk, write, and swallow. After 28 days I went home with a walker.
It took 10 months of agonizing doctor's appointments where I was told I would never fully recover and spend the rest of my life on drugs. I lost all independence and relied fully on my parents. I finally went to the MAYO clinic and went through a three-week pain rehabilitation program. I was able to get off of eight major medications including fentanyl (narcotic analgesic), Percocet (narcotic pain reliever), lorazapam (anti-anxiety) and Neurontin (epilepsy). I was taught cognitive-behavioral therapy to cope with chronic pain.
Today I am much better, but still suffer from side effects. My ring and pinky fingers on both hands and my feet are completely numb. My eye sight has changed close to 30 times since the coma. It has gotten worse, then better and now I need reading glasses for double vision. Finally, at 25, I suffer from what doctor's call a "neurogenic (spastic) bladder." I have no control over my bladder and have been forced to take daily medications.
If the FDA, the AMA, and the CDC are not going to ask what is wrong with these girls– then TruthAboutGardasil.org will – and keep asking until the family´s of these injured girls have the answers, medical attention and vaccine injury compensation they deserve."

Come on Merck, sit up and take notice of what Courtney and the support groups are saying. Don't hide behind schemes like The Gardasil Access Programme and pretend that these injuries do not occur.
The Gardasil Access Programme
"Following the November 2009 meeting of the GARDASIL Access Program Advisory Board, four new applicants were approved. To date, 18 organizations and institutions in 17 eligible countries have been approved to participate in the program.
What has been achieved to date?
By December 2009:
Approval of 18 applications proposing HPV vaccination projects, in 17 countries (Bhutan, Bolivia,Cambodia, Cameroon, Georgia, Ghana, Haiti, India, Kenya, Lesotho, Moldova, Nepal, Nicaragua, Papua New Guinea, Tanzania, Uganda, Uzbekistan)
496,000 doses of GARDASIL pledged for donation, enough to vaccinate over 165,000 beneficiaries (a full series consists of three doses administered over a six-month period)
By March 2010:
302,400 doses of GARDASIL shipped to 9 of the 18 participants approved to date, enough to vaccinate over 100,000 beneficiaries
3 participants had completed at least one full HPV vaccination series, and 6 participants were at various stages of implementation in their respective HPV vaccination projects
What is the GARDASIL Access Program?
Merck pledged to donate at least 3 million doses of GARDASIL, its quadrivalent HPV vaccine, to qualifying organizations and institutions in eligible lowest income countries, where approximately 80% of the world's cervical cancer cases occur. The GARDASIL Access Program enables organizations and institutions in eligible lowest income countries to gain operational experience designing and implementing HPV vaccination projects, with the goal of supporting development of successful child and adolescent immunization models."
What Merck needs to remember is that just because the people of these countries are poor, it does not mean they are not intelligent and they cannot, like Spain, the USA, India and the UK speak out against this vaccine also. Poverty does not mean ignorance.
