Joranīs Rage
Many rationalizations for his behavior can be presented but they do not explain the disparity in his methodology or conflicting motives. He did not kill Natalee ( if she is in fact dead) to protect his privacy. The only thing that is in his background since that disappearance of Natalee that would have that much significance is the knowledge of what happened to Natalee and the exposure of the criminals who implemented her disappearance. This would constitute a real threat to Joran and he was faced with being sure the information the Peruvian woman may have discovered was never revealed. He knew he was a dead man if that information was ever revealed. Whether she had that information is irrelevant. He evidently thought she did and acted to prevent her from ever exposing him and the people behind the operation that caused the disappearance of Natalee.
The human traffickers that kidnapped Natalee ( I operate from a different premise than the MSM) now have only to fear a trial and the revelations that Joran may testify to. That fear is lessened by the fact that he has told so many different stories most of his testimony will be discounted. However, suppose there is something he captured on his computer that names names? Suppose those names get attention they know could blow the lid off their involvement and current activities? Or could the fact that the information the Peruvian girl acquired messed up his extortion plans? Joran was a gambler and it is doubtful the loss of a money scheme would have precipitated such rage as to kill a woman in a violent manner and flee. It is far more likely the original group of thugs that hired Joran presented a fate that Joran was not wanting to face.
The central fact that has never been established but is incessantly insisted on is the death of Natalee. What if she was not killed ( where would be the motive for killing her)?. What if she was sold into white slavery by human traffickers who hired Joran to lure her into their hands? This motive integrates the involvement of Joran with the disappearance of Natalee. It also explains the strange actions of the Aruba investigators, the fear surrounding family members, the lack of a body and the fruitless extensive searches. The fact that Joran "confessed" to this very act of luring her into white slavery was introduced only after he had established his lack of veracity. Yet none of this has any credibility from the press who insist Natalee was killed and disposed of. No evidence to support this but the press never lets facts get in their way like no body and no evidence of murder. They operate from a mistaken premise dictated by their producers and ignore the questions their faulty premise generates.
There was no evidence that Joran acted violently with Natalee. There is a pattern that he exhibited after his murder of the Peruvian woman. It was one of panic and escape. No attempt at a cover-up and in fact a very clumsy murder that didnīt require a lot of investigation to determine the murderer. Why so different an approach? Was the disappearance of Natalee orchestrated by others with a purpose to use her for their purposes? This conclusion is the only one that explains all the loose ends that a true Colombo would never let go unexplained.
Perhaps the questions will always remain unanswered and perhaps Natalee will show up in the future to tell her story of what happened to her. Perhaps she will die in some far away forgotten part of the world and her story will be left untold. The reality is that as long as those who report cling to a faulty premise and report only which fits that premise nothing is solved. The fact that they cannot produce a body or an explanation that makes all the pieces fit doesnīt seem to bother them. Perhaps the trial of Joran will wake the sleeping investigators out of their doldrums. Should any of these pseudo sleuths ever disappear Iīm sure no one would care if they were simply pronounced dead and forgotten.
