Nothing much has been heard of the King Of Pop since his child molestation trial ended and he departed from US soil.
Well, there was that time he went to answer his hotel room door all dressed up in a Mickey Mouse outfit and he has been in and around Europe.
When he chose to take up residence in Bahrain though, it was known that the reason he chose such a faraway place is so he could be out of the public eye for a while. But after doing a little research it was learned where he will be appearing next month.
Apparently he, the gloved one, will make a showing at the World Music Awards celebration in the UK next month, (November.)
He will be there to accept the Diamond award. Something which is given to a recording artist who has sold over one hundred million albums or records in his career.
Please note that this award is based on record sales only and not who the star is or how popular he is.
The show will take place on November 15th at Earls Court and will include such performers as Beyonce Knowles, Mary J. Blige and others. The event will be hosted by Lindsay Lohan.
Performers who have received this award previously include Mariah Carey and Celine Dion. In addition, Rod Stewart has also been an earlier recepient of the Diamond Award.
