You Might Be A Democrat If....

Judy Ramsook
As humans it seems to be quite a common practise to judge or prejudge others. No matter how unbiased some of us claim to be, at some point we will find ourselves taking part in this activity.

Whether it is done subconsciously or not, we find ourselves participating in it, time after time after time. It is just one of those things that cannot be helped.

Sometimes it is nothing much, some people hear a certain surname and voila! Right away they have you labelled as being of whatever ancestry that name is indicative of.

If some one drives a certain kind of vehicle or hangs out at a particular place, he/she is deemed rich, poor, middle class or whatever the person doing the judging thinks that individual is. When it comes to politics though, are you also being judged in accordance with where you shop, or what you drive?

According to a recent news report it seems so. For example, if some one shops at the Target store he/she might be judged as being a democrat.

Before such information was released to the public, I thought the reason a shopper chose to shop at one store over another is because he/she liked the quality of merchandise at whatever store he shopped at, or because he/she is able to find what he/she is looking for faster and easier at one store than the other, not because politics had anything to do with his/her choice.

Similarly, and according to the same findings, if one shops at the Walmart store, he/she is deemed to be a republican. Apparently extensive research has been done in order to achieve data on this sort of thing.

It was also noted that if some one is young and drives a Chevy, he/she might be republican.

I guess if some one prefers Heinz ketchup over some other brand, he/she too might be judged as being democrat. And some of you probably thought no one did research on this type of thing, didn’t you?
