Nasty Boy Bolton Taking The Woodshed To The UN.

Ken Hughes
When I was a young man [long ago] People used a term, forgotten now. When someone needed punishing [whipping,] they were taken to the woodshed. Perhaps Mr. Bolton can take some of that old fashion logic with him to the United Nations. Maybe its time to take the UN to the woodshed for some straightening out. What I wouldn’t give to see Kofi Annan bent over and John Bolton paddling his butt. John Bolton the nasty little fellow, won’t be the first hard_a** to occupy a seat at the UN.

A lie is never a lie until your caught lying, and then it really isn’t a lie, its out of context, misrepresenting fact, that’s what Liberal’s.

believe.

Senate minority leader Harry Reid claim’s President Bush stonewalled the senate with a recess appointment. How many months has the senate been stonewalling the president? Listening to many of the liberal senators you would think George Bush invented recess appointments. President Bush’s made 106 relatively minor recess appointment to_date. These appointments drew little more than raised eyebrows from the senate. President Clinton had 140 recess appointments with little controversy. The first recess appointment, John Rutledge as Chief Justice of the Supreme Court was made by George Washington,[1795.] President Eisenhower made three-recess appointment including Chief Justice Earl Warren to the Supreme Court.

Recess appointments are a right of presidents. It’s their way of getting around an obstructionist senate. Nominees become political fodder between right and left. It seldom has anything to do with the nominees qualifications. Any nominee who puts up with several week grilling by the senate damn_well deserves the appointment they’re seeking.

I’m all for a rule change. Before any senator asks a a question they must first answer the same question, i.e. “Mr. Nominee in the past I’ve punched my wife and slapped my children, Do you sir, still beat your wife and children”? You get the idea. It would certainly tone down the interrogation process. Anyone who’s ever had any dealings with government bureaucracies knows abuses of power go on all the time. I’m assuming they’re more frequent in congress than anywhere else given the egos of elected officials.

If John Bolton is a little brash, so be it. When he arrives at the UN he’ll soon discover what international diplomacy is all about, smiles in agreement and total indifference to any productive planning and performances. The UN is about appearance not performance, John Bolton isn’t about to change that. The best he can hope for is to bring some of the UN abuses and excesses out in the open.

You can bet he’s not about to get a key to the excusive water_closet. The first indication of his future was when Kofi [Goofy] Annan called him brilliant. That’s a finger on the back searching for a soft_spot. If Ambassador Bolton thinks, he’s been to hell and back, he hasn’t seen anything yet.

This article can’t end without paying respects to President George W. Bush for standing by his man. Liberal would like to paint George Bush as Don Quixote battling windmills. When in fact he’s El Sid battling Monsters. Guess what he, winning the battle.
