CNN Airs Terrorist Sniper Killing US Soldier
According to CNN, “The graphic video of 10 sniper attacks was obtained by CNN -- through intermediaries -- from the Islamic Army of Iraq, one of the most active insurgent organizations in Iraq.”
Are critics correct in their assessment that CNN is full of terrorist sympathizers? Well, after their report on “In the Footsteps of Bin Laden,” there might be a case.
Why did the terrorist feel confident in sending CNN the footage? They did not just receive one tape, but multiple; all confirmed in the validity of the actions that the sniper took.
One of CNN’s analysts called the sniper attacks the most effective thing they have seen. “The deadly tactic is one the U.S. military also uses to take out insurgents”, according to CNN. They seem be telling them how good they are at using our strategies to kill our men.
Whether someone agrees with the war or not is immaterial. The point is that some people have the audacity to kill our men and send our news organizations the footage to show of it. That takes a lot of chutzpah for any enemy that America has. It takes even more for an American owned company to broadcast.
I know that there is freedom of the press, but has CNN ever heard of decency? Do they think because they "cooperate" with the enemy that that will stop them from kidnapping one of their journalists? Perhaps it was just a showing to beat the competition, but maybe the competition has enough class not to show an American being gunned down by a terrorist.
