San Francisco, CA – Mayor Gavin Newsom today announced the appointment of Heidi Machen as the Executive Director of the San Francisco Taxicab Commission. "Heidi’s well-rounded set of experiences make her the best choice for the job,” said Mayor Newsom. “The Taxi Commission will benefit greatly from her creative energy and innovative ideas.” Newsom continued, “I look forward to working with her and the commission to continue to provide world class taxi services for residents and visitors of San Francisco.”
