Acne is a problem that troubles many of us. Right from young teenagers to adults, this problem may make life miserable because of disfigured look it causes. Physical procedures are used to treat acne. are they the last resort? Let us find out.

Acne treatment with physical procedures- many physical procedures are used to treat acne. They are as below-

acne extraction- the whiteheads and blackheads called comdones are extracted to clean the pores. The extraction is dione by many patients , but they most often manage to further worsen the ppores and infect themselves.

Acne drainage- Many big cysts that are full of pus and dead skin cells are drained by doctors and the skin removed and cleaned. the wound is treated with antibiotics. With this procedure the chances of growth of the cyst and scarring are reduced.

Acne treatment with Glycolic acid-

Acne in the initiakl stages is treated with glycolic acid. Glycolic acid is a AHa and removes the dead skin cells and makes skin clean and fresh. In the process of removing the dead cells glycolic opens the closed pores and also helps remove whiteheads and blackheads.


Acne and High energy lights- to treat acne on the back, lights are used to kill the bacteria P.acnes that causes infection. Though the light can be used everywhere on the body, it gives exceelent results compared to other therapy on places such as back that are hard to reach for self application.
