Montana is a state of the northwest United States bordering on Canada. It was admitted as the 41st state in 1889. Most of the area passed to the United States through the Louisiana Purchase of 1803 and was explored by Lewis and Clark in 1805 and 1806. Split for many years among other western territories, the region was organized as the Montana Territory in 1864.
A poker tournament is a tournament where players compete by playing poker, and one example is a quick tourney game. A quick tournament lasts for only about two hours. In order to play a quick poker tournament, start each player with two thousand chips and play with 20-minute levels.
Here is the structure for a quick tournament: In level 1, set the small blind at 25 and the big blind at 50. In level 2, set the small blind at 50 and the big blind at 100. In level 3, set the small blind at 100 and the big blind at 200. Again, double these amounts when you reach level 4. After this level, take a short break for ten minutes. Afterwards, proceed to level 5 with the small blind set at 300 and the big blind at 600. In level 6, set the small blind at 500 and the big blind at 1,000. Keep on doubling your blind bets until you reach level 9. When you reach level 10, set the small blind at 5,000 and the big blind at 10,000.
If you are not ready for the World Poker Tour Championship or the World Series of Poker, then start out with a Montana Texas holdem tournament and work your way up gradually in the poker game.
