Thank you for this interview, Barbora. Can you tell us briefly what your latest book, Tales for Delicious Girls, is all about?

Tales for Delicious Girls is a humorous, ironic book about men and women and about female friendship. It deals with dating and relationship mishaps and funny situations that actually happened, no matter how incredible it may seem. Its main purpose is to entertain but when you read it you realize the book also shows women that the relationship they have with themselves is much more important than their relationship with men and other people who surround them. It helps them love themselves more, appreciate and respect themselves.

Can you tell us who or what was the inspiration behind your book?

All the wonderful women I know, love and respect. I'm a relationship coach and I work primarily with women. Every day I see that no matter how strong we are, how educated we are, how great our career is, sometimes we just get lost in the complicated web of relationships. I wrote Tales for Delicious Girls because I would like every woman to see herself as the pillar of her own life, her best friend. I would like every woman to truly love herself. I hope that my book makes women laugh and also helps them deal with any personal and relationship issues they may have.

Is this your first published book and if so, can you tell us your experiences in finding a publisher for it?

I'm very lucky because I own an independent New York Press, BK Publishing, so I never really had to look for a publisher.

Do you have an agent?

I don't have an agent and at the moment I don't feel I need one.

Can you tell us how long it took you to write your book and to have it released?

It took me about eight months to write the book. Of course, after I had finished writing it, I needed to have it illustrated, edited, etc. It took about four months to have the book ready for publishing. I consider myself very lucky to be surrounded by wonderful people and professionals at BK Publishing.

Do you have any words of inspiration for other writers who would like to be wearing your shoes?

Never give up. Writing a book, publishing it and marketing it is not easy but it's a very exciting and rewarding process. Many writers eventually give up because they find it too hard. But you should always pursue your dreams and your goals. Besides, as Ian Flemming said: "Above all, being a comparatively successful writer is a good life."

I understand that you are touring with Pump Up Your Book in February via a virtual book tour. Can you tell us all why you chose a virtual book tour to promote your book online?

I think that online marketing and promotion is very powerful today. I worked with Pump Up Your Book already before and I must say that Dorothy Thompson, the CEO, is an absolutely wonderful professional and a great lady. Working with Pump Up Your Book is highly effective, affordable and fun. I would recommend them to every author out there.

What´s next for you?

I have just finished a new book, Delicious Girl's Guide to Self-Love, which is on the way to Amazon.com, other online retailers and bookstores. It's a guide to self-love and happiness that teaches women about the importance of self-love and helps them start loving themselves in only three weeks. In a way it picks up where Tales for Delicious Girls left off. It's a complete step-by-step system, easy to use and understand. It helps women find themselves, respect and appreciate themselves and accept themselves. I'm finishing another book of tales, this time about life enjoyment and little pleasures that we all should learn to indulge in. I'm also preparing two new self-development books for women.
