Solihull and Tamworth Physiotherapist offers Advanced Sports Injury Training opportunity

Apprenticeships seem to be a thing of the past but Solihull and Tamworth Osteopath and Physiotherapist John Williams wants to train his own staff. In order to guarantee quality and sound work ethics John is introducing a one to one training opportunity with himself and his senior colleagues. The training will involve physiotherapy techniques,osteopathy techniques and advanced sports therapy skills.

The Atlas Sports Therapy Training Programme has been introduced because Clinic Director John Williams has found it difficult to find practitioners with the necessary skills.

John has decided to introduce the idea of one to one practical on the job training in an attempt to "grow your own wood"

Sports Injuries and running injuries in particular is a specialised field of work and Atlas Sports Injury Clinic in Solihull Birmingham is always looking for the right kind of enthusiastic staff.

The successful applicant would be able to learn biomechanical assessments, use and operation of video gait analysis, laser foot scanning, clinical testing, diagnosing and examination of musculo-skeletal complaints like back pain and sciatica, sports injury diagnosis and treatments, electrotherapy and soft tissue massage.

The following opportunity is available for any interested parties who are prepared to work hard for 12 months.


One to one training opportunity in Sports Injuries and musculo-skeletal therapy.

12 months full time shadowing and training with Sports physiotherapist and Osteopath where you will receive instruction in diagnosing sports injuries and musculo-skeletal back pain conditions.

This is an opportunity to undergo an "on the job" skills training programme where you will be given instruction on how to be a competent musculo-skeletal practitioner.

You will need a qualification that enables you to obtain insurance to work on people.

Be prepared to undertake long hours of training.

Demonstrate the desire to become a full time musculo-skeletal practitioner who can operate as part of a team.

This is a unique training opportunity where you will shadow and learn how to perform all the skills necessary to work in a Pain Relief Centre and Sports Injury Clinic.

Atlas will offer graduates that demonstrate the appropriate attitude and skills, a full time employment offer on completion of their training.

Non refundable training fee of £3000 for 12 months training must be paid in advance.
