President of the World Foundation For Peace and Security comments on Terrorists Human rights.
The word terrorist when it goes to the Jihads is something totally different. It comes from Islam, but the real meaning differs among the Islamic people themselves. When it goes to religions and the God believers, then it has to do with the major percentage of the world. Thus it needs to be examined into this area, not the area of the atheists who cannot understand, because they use only their mind and not an open heart.
At this very moment the entire world is suffering from this phenomenon. We have two major wars in Iraq, Afghanistan and many, which are almost ready to start if the crisis gets worst. The Middle East, the Iran, which builds up its war capabilities as fast as possible and day-by-day, expands its influence in the Gulf, the Middle East and among other Islamic countries.
The crisis management is really very sensitive and very difficult. All the free world wishes that the crisis will de-escalate and the fear of a most catastrophic war with weapons of massive destruction will not be likely to happen.
The signs though to the eyes of the experts are very dark and there is not any evidence that this major war will be avoided. Day by day it becomes worst. The western world reminds the days before world war two, when Hitler was getting prepared and no serious actions were taken to stop him.
The world has even reached to a point to treat the Jihad terrorists caught for terrorist actions like all other criminals. There is though a big discrimination here. These terrorists come from the side of the enemies where we have open wars. They should be treated in accordance with the military commission and not by federal courts. If they catch a soldier of our army in the wars we are right now, are they going to pass him through civilian courts? Of course not.
This decision weakens our military to question them and get very sensitive information, which might lead us to a better plan to uncover another plot that is coming. Also instead of helping peace to come, open doors for other terrorist strikes to happen, in order to show sympathy to the terrorist who is going to be in the court for trial.
"Kikareas says that", Personally I feel deep sympathy for these poor people, who have been brain washed by the extreme ideologies, but the system has to be just and right, for prevention. Not to encourage these actions but in the opposite help other candidates´ terrorists to understand and change their minds. This kind of philosophic approach has to be present in all our actions; otherwise we help the night to look like day and the evil like God. We share much of the crime because we don't do what we must, in order to clear up the air and everybody to understand when we say day, it is day and when we say night is night. Then Peace and understanding will become closer.
