Netidentity E-mail Fails, ThatPRGuy Press Release Writer and Consultant Announces Change
A new E-mail has been set up to enable clients and potential clients to continue communications. His old E-mail appears in hundreds of press releases and it no longer works because the company providing the service has ceased to function.
His web site, www.ThatPRGuy.com offers press release writing and distribution services on a fixed rate basis. The company is listed by Ranking.com as number two in the world in the public relations category.
"About eight years ago I purchased E-mail service from Netidentity.com simply because they owned the domain for my name, Bresnahan.com. I offered to buy the domain from them but they turned me down. Consequently the only way to use my name as my E-mail was to pay them an annual fee," explained Bresnahan.
Mailbank.com, Inc., doing business as Netidentity, was recently purchased by Tucows, Inc. according to a release put out by that company at http://resellers.tucows.com/about/press/
"For some unknown reason, all E-mail service has stopped and the web site for Netidentity.com and Mailbank.com have both disappeared. Those sites have ceased to exist on Sep. 23 and at the end of the day on Sep. 24 have still not come back. I must assume those companies are gone," explained Bresnahan.
Phone calls and E-mails to Hilda Kelly of Tucows, Inc. have not been returned. Kelly is listed in the press release from Tucows as the company contact.
"I have notified my clients that my E-mail address no longer works, and I have given them a new address to use. Unfortunately, my old address is published in thousands of places on the Internet and in hundreds of press releases. Potential clients and others will not be able to contact me as a result of the loss of service," said Bresnahan.
The replacement E-mail address to reach Bresnahan at ThatPRGuy.com is David@ThatPRGuy.com.
"I apologize for the inconvenience this change has caused my clients and those who are trying to reach me. I will do everything I can to restore the previous E-mail address as soon as possible. I am hopeful that the company will soon restore service or enable me to obtain the domain," said Bresnahan.
