God Bless Cindy McCain For Supporting Gay Marriage

"John McCain`s staunch opposition to gay marriage was one of the key parts of his presidential campaign. But it has become clear this was not supported in his own household. His daughter, Meghan, is a vocal advocate of gay rights. Now his wife, Cindy, has appeared in a poster campaign against California`s proposition 8 " a law banning same-sex marriage."

I applaud Cindy McCain and her daughter Meghan for their support of gay marriage.

By endorsing same-sex marriage Cindy is going against the Republican establishment, including her own husband.

John McCain issued a press release reaffirming his opposition to gay marriage, but he said he respected the views of his family.

Shame on Barack Obama for not having the political fortitude to support same-sex marriage. For God`s sake even Dick Cheney

has expressed support for gay marriage, but Obama and most prominent Democrats are too cowardly to stand up for human rights.

Obama shouldn`t get a pass from the gay community, he should be publicly criticized for his Neanderthal position on gay marriage.

If Obama wants to see a profile in courage , he should look at Cindy McCain`s poster supporting the rights of gays.
