The Founders Inn & Spa Treat Guest Like VIPs

The Flowering Almond Spa at The Founders Inn in Virginia Beach has an exceptional spa that offers many treatments to help ease your stress. My husband and I were looking forward to our trip to Virginia Beach and wanted to share a unique experience, and what better than a Spa Treatment.

Among the many options you can enjoy at The Flowering Almond Spa are couples massages, facials, manicures, and pedicure treatments. And, if you have a bit of time, guest at the Spa can also visit the Fitness Center, and pool during your visit.

We arrived early and relaxed in the conservatory with a cup of tea before our massage. This wide open space is ideal for letting your mind unwind. With so much going on in our daily lives its great to find a place where we could feel comfortable and just get away from everything.

Within a few minutes we were greeted by our massage therapist, who was eager to assist us by making us as comfortable as possible. As we learned, the Flowering Almond Spa´s staff are trained in a variety of massages techniques to help relieve not only the tensions of daily life, but they can also focus on healing with Deep tissue and Reflexology.

With soothing music and the soft touch of the therapist we were soon drifting. It's amazing to actually feel the tension slipping away. You never really know how much stress your body holds until you visit a spa, and then begin releasing it.

The Flowering Almond Spa also has monthly specials so you could sample any number of treatments during your visit. This month's Spa Special was a Free Express Manicure with the purchase of a Spa Pedicure. We just enjoyed a massage for the day, and plan on returning again to experience the other treatments.

When we were done it felt as if we were renewed. It feels as if you're almost lighter after a massages. Maybe its the calm environment or the warm wraps our therapist used. Either way it was a perfect way to start our Virginia Beach getaway!

Along with the soothing Spa treatments, The Founders Inn is great place to stay when visiting Virginia Beach. Yes, you can stay near the beach and enjoy the sand between your toes, but if you don't mind a short drive it's more relaxing to stay at The Founders Inn. The setting is grand, and there's a beautiful garden and nature trail to enjoy. For dining visit the Swan Terrace Restaurant, or if you're on a business trip you can take advantage of the Business Center.

Then again, if you're on vacation forget the Business Center, go to the Fitness Center, or stroll along the trails, and then enjoy a Spa Treatment at the Flowering Almond Spa. Leave the business until you get home.
