Scott Brown 2012 Republican Nominee for President

Tony R. Elliott
The stunning victory of Scott Brown in the Massachusetts election shows more than just a state's disdain of the current Democratic controlled Federal Government but a growing nationwide disgust with the way things are being done from the President on down.

By winning this election Scott Brown is able to single handedly prevent the Dems from rushing bad legislation through the House and Senate without opposition to become law as has been the case before his win.

This election also proves the fact that this country is totally divided by about 50% politically when it comes to the public's expectations of their vision for the future of their nation.

Not since the Civil War has this country been so evenly divided and separated by drastic ideas and ideals among its people.

The days of Republicans compromising their core values for a candidate who is middle of the road rather than conservative are over. Now Conservatives have found their direction which never was lost but hidden in the fog of despair because of a Moderate Republican President holding office for eight years.

The choice of John McCain as the Republican selection of a Presidential nominee was doomed from the start as such a candidate simply cannot garner enough votes to beat Alfred E. Newman much less even dream of beating the likes of Hillary Clinton or Barack H. Obama.

The next time around in 2012 will be a different animal altogether. This election I predict will have one of the strongest Republican candidates to come down the pike since Ronald Reagan in the form of Scott Brown. This man will have the time to both prove and position himself to the voters and gain an attractive record. It may seem a bit early to make such a statement however in the political arena I am usually right in predicting future Presidents or candidates who will run for office. I was right on the money in knowing who was going to become President since Ronald Reagan was elected. It is simply a combination of attributes and personality along with the time in history that makes such assessments viable.

Scott Brown will be in the running in 2012 whether he wins his bid for President depends on the next three years of the Obama Presidency and how he deals with problems both domestically and abroad. A lot can happen in three years that could paint a lousy picture for Obama's popularity or make him unbeatable.

What led to Scott Brown's win is the refusal of half of America's population to accept the implementation of fascist based laws such as Cap and Trade and expensive legislation dealing with curbing Global Warming which would end up costing each taxpayer thousands of dollars per year in taxes, expensive products and massive hikes in the overall cost of living.

The U.S. is at the point where neither a Conservative Republican nor Liberal Democrat will satisfy a majority of the people because of the great divide existing between them.

An example is the election of Barack Obama. This man has done nothing surprising since he was elected to the observant individual who listened to his campaign promises. Obama ran on the promise of a government sponsored health care plan being created during his Administration but a year later it would seem that most voters were asleep or drunk during the parts of the campaign where he spoke of initiating it.

The only solution to America's political dead end is to accept that neither a Republican nor Democrat will be able to satisfy more than 50% of the people. It will require either an individual who has completely different concept of law and governing or a complete restructure of the United States themselves into separate unions of states.

Breaking the U.S. into two separate country entities is the only real solution because the political divide is too great between our existing parties and geographically between the ideals of the people.

Most see a glimmer of hope in Scott Brown getting elected but it is simply a sign of more separation and mutual disdain among the citizens of this country.
