Manipulators of the Family Feud
MORO FAMILIES in the Philippines had over and over again engaged in bloody battles against each other. This practice, which has been rampant down along the generations, is known as "RIDO" in the Maranao Tribe, and "SAGGAH" in the Yakan tribe.
Having been a continuous practice for so many years, FAMILY FEUD is lately the modified Moro war trend along the regions, especially in the Southwestern Mindanao areas.
Family feud is now modified as it has turned to be in union with the Al Qaeda-linked Abu Sayyaf and other Moro splinter terror groups.
With the help of splinter terror groups, the agressive families involved perform bloody attacks on the "faulty" families mainly for the settlement of different generational grudges.
Certain reasons such as money and land matters, and unfulfilled marriage bethrothals also pose as factors for gory family feuds.
Moreover, political practices in the respective areas also pose as factor for the uprise of family feuds.
At some instances, the solution to inter-family grudges can be solved with the dowry-like payment of cash by the 'offending' clan. However, many of the settlements resort to excessive killing and destruction.
Socio-cultural experts in the region commented that the practice of family feuds could simmer down and weaken through intermarriage and the country's economic recovery.
A PIA beat respondent specializing in History of Philippine Terrorism said that an alliance with various terror groups for 'Clan Attack and Combat' is the usual cause for concern among the families at grudge.
"The begrudged families involved take this practice very seriously---LIKE THE METICULOUS REFINING OF MEAT ON CHOPPING BOARD," they said, adding that "the threat to innocent bystanders and neighbors is most likely and inevitable especially during unguarded moments.
A top PIA branch official confided that "a series of family feuds had lately occured in the Zamboanga, Basilan and Sulu areas, and that more bloody fights are yet to happen in the immediate future---and the well-orchestrated assistance of notorious terror groups is what will make the Moro family feuds an 'all-time-high' in Philippine history.
Concerned civic groups have repeatedly warned of the continuous uprise of family wars, that the sudden occurence will most likely NOT enable the public to run to safety.
However, the military and police authorities had no immediate comment on the latest occurrences of Moro inter-family wars, but civilian opinion leaders have long regarded the unannounced gory practice as one of the latest terror situations that threatens to spread throughout the country.
CRAFTY CONSPIRATORS
"We are wishfully looking forward to the healing of family wounds, as so many innocent civilians have suffered the consequences of this particular type of war," said a PIA beat respondent who specializes in the study of Counterterrorism and Counterintelligence.
"Unfortunately, TERROR GROUPS ARE TAKING ADVANTAGE OF THE FAMILY WARS TO SOW TERROR WITHIN THE AREAS, and many Christian and other non-Muslim civilians have been killed," he said.
"Almost all the latest family wars are a manipulation of the terror groups, and they work hard to keep their manipulation a strictly guarded secret," he said.
"Since all their intentions are centered on the destruction of Christianity and other non-Muslim religions, fanatical terrorists have turned the Moro family feuds into a diversionary front," he said.
With the wary disposition of Philippine military and police authorities in the country, it turned out to be difficult for the terror groups to totally make their desired intensity of target. This prompted the rebel groups to discover new ways and avenues to reinvent their futile terror strategies---hence, the Moro family struggles for a start.
The manipulation of family feud now serves as guiding light for all the terror groups in the country to search for other avenues for packed terroristic attacks in the future, and thus effectively hamper the peaceful situation in the country.
The manipulated operation of family feud continuously move on. What next? (JV)
