Is America Without a Clue?

Ken Hughes
Tehran Times reporting from Havana Cuba, 09/17/2006 “President Mahmud Ahmadinejad said on Friday afternoon at the 118 Nation Non-Aligned Movement [NAM] meeting that the movement needed to restructure its mechanism to play a more influential role on the international scene.” Those are scary words coming from one of the worlds most prolific terrorists.

Ahmadinejad’s new best friends are Vladimir Putin, Fidel Castro, Hugo Chavez and Kofi Annon that we know of there may very well be more. These men have engaged in a movement designed to upset the balance of world power. NAM is designed to separate the dependency of the [have-not] nations away from the [have] nations. Unless and until the [have] nations recognize they have a responsibility to share there is going to be trouble.

Should the Middle East, Russia and the Hispanic Americas align with the rest of those 118 NAM countries to form such an alliance they’ll become a force to be reckoned with?

The world looks to the Unites States some for leadership and others as a nation of heartless greedy people. Ford Motor Company just paid a man an $ 18.5 million dollar signing bonus to tell 75 thousand other men and women they’re in jeopardy of losing their jobs, men and women who are third and fourth generation Ford employees. That bonus amounts to the jobs of 500 average wage earners annual salaries. This speaks volumes to the rest of the world about Corporate Americas loyalty. These and other incidents of a not to pleasant look at the American way as presented by the American Media give those 118 NOM nations reason to question the merits of capitalism.

Hispanics look north and see the Americans building walls and fences they don’t see it as controlling immigration they see it as depriving them of economic opportunity. The Canadian government on the other hand acts as a labor contractor and brings guest workers in from Mexico under rigidly controlled circumstances and the Hispanics wonder why the Americans can’t have a similar program. These workers are looking for jobs not welfare, not citizenship. This is another case where the media’s talking and isn’t telling the facts

Every [Ism] that comes along claims to be the Utopia, Valhalla, Aztlan call it what you will that mythical paradise man has searched for for an eternity. When the bloom fades on a particular style government man moves on to the next experiment. I have my doubts this new Radical Islam supported by the dregs of the former communist phylophies can make the cut. This new [Ism] may very well be a pill larger than the world can swallow.

The evolution of man comes before his death not after. Everything on this earth is in a constant state of gradual evolution nothing remains the same. Because man’s in such a hurry going nowhere they evolve faster than most things around them, man see evolution and calls it progress. America’s progress came from generations of immigrants coming to these shores. The United States has always attracted those with ambition and the courage to be adventurous, that’s why we are the greatest nation on this earth because of the people we attract both then and now.

I’m not an advocate for illegal immigration, having spent most of my life living and traveling throughout the Americas I can tell all Americans there’s unrest on our southern boarders that neither treaties full of empty promises or current laws will satisfy. The illegal immigrant breaks one law that’s a misdemeanor by crossing the boarder without papers all the other laws are broken by the Americans who placate and enable them. It seems hypocritical to me to blame the illegal immigrant when it’s the Anglos who are the law breakers.

This new alliance NOM consists of 2/3rds of the UN membership. 2/3rds of the UN is made up of what we Americans consider rouge nations. Unless and until we’re ready to take a second look and reevaluate our relationships with our neighbors we’re going to be dealing with the rouge mentality of NOM that will have little compassion for us.

It’s hypocritical to hold up a sign saying “Alto no paso por aqui” with arrows pointing to another signs saying “Bienvenido Trabajador de Latino.”

America is in serious need of scrapping all the old immigrations laws that were enacted for political reasons both domestic and international. For once Congress should stop fooling the public and get serious about one of our most serious issues. Not walls, guns or intimidation will resolve the immigration issue. It will take a lot of discussion back and forth I ask you are we Americans to good to talk? Islam is coming thousands of Muslims enter this country legally every month, lets not become another Europe where they rule the streets. We can’t blame all the demise of America on Hispanics alone.
