Dear Mr. Raglione,
Haiti was struck yesterday by the worst earthquake in 200 years—magnitude 7.0—followed by powerful aftershocks.
Magalie Boyer, a World Vision staff member in Port-au-Prince, said, "It felt as if a truck had hit a wall... there is extensive damage to the city."
While the death toll is still unknown, thousands are believed to have lost their lives. As many as 3 million people have been affected.
An injured Haitian child receives emergency medical treatment after the catastrophic earthquake. Your help is needed now! (Reuters)
