Valerie Plame + 9/11 + Democratic Objections =??

Ken Hughes
Perhaps I’m a cynic, I put more faith in filmmakers who do documentaries than presidential commissions with an agenda. I’ve been skeptical of much of the 9/11 commissions report from the beginning. Lets hope Disney has at least been as accurate as the 9/11 commission claimed they were.

Democrats complaining about this Disney Mini Series depicting a version of the 9/11 disaster seems ill-timed so soon after the exposure of the Valerie Plame incident. Prominent Democrats went on the floors of Congress charging innocent men of abuse of power and revealing secrets knowing full well those men were innocent. How was this fraud allowed to continue when everyone involved knew the truth? A special prosecutor doesn’t have the authority to silence that many people. Why did so many in the government keep silent when the truth was so obvious?

Democrats have falsified their way through five and a half years of the Bush Presidency with impunity claiming he said things he didn’t say and did things he didn’t do all the time knowing they were lying. Now that Hollywood’s making Democrats look bad they want to suspend the first amendment rights of the filmmaker. The question is will the American public take notice or will it just be another day on the farm where Democrats get a pass for acting democratic.

The Media spent years on the Valerie Plame outing and have said little about the facts now they’ve come out into the open, not even an “I’m sorry” from one of the Media has been heard. How will the Media handle this fictional docudrama of the Clintons Administrations dealing with the 9/11 terrorists?

Have Bill Clintons chickens come home to roost, does this docudrama consist more of facts than fiction. Is this why Democrats are trying to have it altered? Considering the fact they’ve never before complained about something political being aired on television it make us wonder if perhaps this mini series isn’t actually a documentary of the facts.

Let’s hope all next week the Clinton Administration supporters are up in arms bemoaning the showing of this docudrama, that’s the only way it’s going to get any coverage by the media. The people who watch will connect the dots they’ll remember more of the facts than those complaining Democrats remember, this will refresh some faulty memories I’m sure.

This brings up another unanswered question, how would Al Gore have handled the World Trade Center bombings as apposed to the way Bush handled them? He undoubtedly would have gone to the UN demanding a resolution condemning the terrorists, The UN would have put the blame on Israel and the whole thing would have been swept under the rug. That was pretty much what Clinton did the half dozen or more times terrorists struck American property during his administration.

Democrats spent eight years chastising Saddam Hussein, calling for resolution upon resolution by the UN demanding Saddam be removed form power as one of the greatest threats to Americas security knowing Osama bin Laden was the greater threat they let him go. Clintons excuse was there was nothing to charge bin Laden with that would hold up in a court of law.

Laws should be written to protect the innocent as well as the guilty. Osama had been expelled from three Arab States before going to Afghanistan to continue his terrorist activities. If as is the case now we were to apply American law then Osama could have been charged under a Rico statute, and brought to trial. The former President of Panama Noriega was kidnapped, tried and convicted in an American court, why not Osama?

This administration’s supposed failures in Iraq are dwarfed by Clinton’s many comedic military failures. Clinton let his libido do his thinking for him and thousand of civilian lives were wasted because of it. Maybe its time the shine came off Clinton’s image and we were given a clearer picture of what really happened on 9/11 in New York, Washington and Pennsylvania.

This isn’t an indictment of all things democratic. Democrats are an essential part of the political structure of this nation. Competition is always an improvement over the singular rule we see in many countries around the world.

The world is gradually converting to American style democracy. This is a reason for our elected officials to improve on our system as opposed to all the infighting that both parties engage in now. Hillary Clinton has called for a cooling of the hostilities in both isles of congress lets hope someone listens to her.
