YES, GLOBAL WARMING EXISTS AND YES, THE CONSEQUENCES WILL BE SERIOUS!
Dear Brasscheck TV:
I've been on the Internet long enough to see first hand the effects of global warming.
There has been horrific fires in Australia, in Greece, in Western Canada and in the United States. There has been years of drought in the United States and except for irrigated farms, dust bowl conditions prevailed in the Mid-West. There have been worse droughts in Africa!
With so many abnormal weather patterns occurring around the globe, anybody studying the planet on a regular basis could not help but see how our weather patterns have changed. When NASA satelites began showing exactly and precisely how the Arctic was melting and how more than fifty percent of the mass of the Arctic Ice had melted during the last decade, I began writing full time on how we humans had to do something to slow the global warming process.
And the truth is, as much as I respect Al Gore and his ability to write books, I have not studied his books. I am a social scientist and a journalist and I, along with dozens of world scientists, arrived independantly at the same conclusions. There will be serious
consequences if we Human Beings do not make concentrated efforts to slow global warming!
When he was a U.S. Senator, Al Gore took a Submarine ride under the Arctic to see for himself how the Arctic was shrinking. What he saw motivated him to write a book.
The evidence of global warming today is over-whelming and the consequences of a warming climate is often drought. With drought vegetation dies. If vegetation dies, we die. It is basic common sense! Farmers will not be able to irrigate fast enough to save the vast majority of farms. The water to irrigate will not be there as underground reservoirs and rivers around the world, which depend on Glacier and Snow melt, dry up and do not fill up fast enough to supply the needed water. I've seen the reports from many
different sources and if you do some basic research, you will arrive at the same conclusions. You do not have to be a top scientist to understand what is happening. Common sense should be enough.
If you simply study what is happening in Africa, you will see the deforestation and the consequences of deforestation. Dead Trees create Co2 and Co2 creates the Green-House Gas now creating global warming. Depleted Ozone above the Arctic Ice also is helping to create global warming. Without a protective Ozone layer, the Sun directly radiates the Ice and the melting Ice releases Methane. The same thing is happening to our Oceans. As Ocean Waters warm, Methane is released and Methane also creates global warming.
Thank you for reading and please study the facts and only the facts. Opinions that are not based on facts can mislead us at a time we need to create important changes to our economic structures.
