Media & Entertainment Jobs in India

This field comprises two different sub fields; One being media and the other being entertainment field. Under media field, comes the print media, broadcasting media, digital media et al. Print media includes news papers, tabloids and all kinds of magazines. Broadcasting media includes radio, television. Digital media includes bill boards, internet and other form of communication using digital technology.

Now coming to entertainment sector which is a vast sector or to be more specific a vast industry which includes music, soap operas, films, sports et al. As such government of India has recognized entertainment sector as a separate industry since it has been fetching huge chunks of money to the government. Believe it or not 18% of the government earnings is contributed solely by entertainment industry in India.

Entertainment jobs can be any of kind; be it a star in the movies or a small performer in an infamous band, its still called an entertainment job.
