Selling Your Packrat Items Through Internet Classified Ads Can Make You Money To Pay Off Debt
Now I'm sure there are a lot of you out there that are looking for that perfect dream job that you just haven't found yet. Of course the ideal job for many is to work from home and set your own hours. With a job like that, you don't have to worry about someone constantly looking over your shoulder to see if you're getting your work done.
Have you looked much into making money off the Internet? There are auction sites such as eBay that you can post items from around your house and people bid on the item for a few days depending on what time limit you set on it. You can even put a minimum amount that you'll accept on the bidding. There's also a "buy it now" option where the person can buy the item at a price you set.
I think you'd be amazed at how much money you could make off of the Internet. Take a look around your house and see what you don't need any more. Of course there are going to be items that you don't really need, but you have held onto them for some unknown reason. I think if you've had something for two years or longer, and it hasn't been used, it's time to get rid of it.
So here are a few suggestions when looking around your house to get yourself out of some of the debt you've accrued:
• Carefully look in every room for items that could be sold that are in decent shape
• Put the items in different piles according to what they are, e.g. electronics, appliances, entertainment, etc.
• Go through your storage area and get all your junk out and put in separate piles as well
• Take pictures of each item
Now even though you may think a certain item is junk, you just have to keep in mind that "one man's junk is another man's treasure". So even if you feel it isn't worthy of being sold, think again; you may be quite surprised at what people actually do purchase. You may even want to take a look at some of the ads other people place of things they are looking for to buy. You just might have what they are looking for.
It's very easy to be walking through a store and a great sale is going on, and you end up purchasing things you think you may need, but then it just sits in your closet for quite some time. Include these items in your pile of things to sell. Get rid of your "packrat" status and clear up the clutter in your house. You'll not only feel better, but you'll also have a little extra money in your pocket to pay off those debts and maybe even have a little extra for stashing away for that dream vacation.
