Global Warming Creates Glaciers
I must admit I’m confused over global warming I live in the Midwest and anyone who’s ever seen the Great Lakes knows they were created by global warming millions of years ago. Would the Midwest be better off if it were still under several hundred feet of ice? Global warming gave us Canada and Alaska so is global warming such a terrible thing? One thing history teaches us is mans ability to adapt to new situations. Midwesterners and Canadians flock to Florida every winter to warm up, what would be the harm brining a little of that warmth north for a change, Alaskan home grown bananas and pineapples what a unique idea.
What do these researchers in England know what went on in Pakistan a hundred or a thousand years ago? I doubt the Pakistanis kept records of glacier changes a hundred years ago. They can speculate but they have no way of verifying their findings. That covers most of the claims of global warming they have no way to verify the data. Weather is something man has been fooling around with since the beginning of time and today they’re as wrong as they’ve ever been. A year ago predictions were we were if for another catastrophic hurricanes season this year. The hurricane season is nearly over and nothing to speak of has happened yet.
If you give researchers enough money and tell them what results you expect in return you’re very apt to get exactly what you ask for, it doesn’t necessarily need to be factual as long as the money keeps coming in. Global warming is a cash cow for a lot of people. It keeps Al Gore in the air in a private jet most of the year, T-shirts and ring-tones alone are making fortunes for many people. Global warming is like a puritan’s pornography it’s an addiction that sustains the sloes of many people. Give some people a suggestion and a soapbox and they’ll turn it into a national disaster waiting to happen. What bother me are the distortions of facts and misinformation they disseminate. I don’t know if there’s such a thing as global warming and I think I know about as much as anyone on the subject.
