A Look at Disney'sTinker Bell and the Lost Treasure
Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure is the follow-up to Disney's previous direct-to-video film "Tinker Bell," which introduced audiences to the magical fairy land of Pixie Hollow, where fairies work diligently to change the seasons and bring magic to the world. In "Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure" the fairies are getting ready for another change of seasons and are preparing to bring autumn to the mainland. In order to ensure that autumn is able to arrive without a hitch, the fairies must use the magical moonstone to make sure that their fairy dust is the right color. However, the moonstone is broken, which sends the fairy community into sadness and panic because without the magic of the moonstone, they won't be able to change the seasons and nature will be set off track. So Tinker Bell decides that she's going to be able to find a way to fix the moonstone's magic and leaves Pixie Hollow along with her friend Terrance and a new friend named Blaze. The group is looking for a magical mirror that will grant the finder any wish that she can desire and Tinker Bell knows that if they find the mirror, it will be able to fix the moonstone. Tinker Bell and her friends go through many exciting dangers and adventures on their way to find the mirror and are able to return to Pixie Hollow with the ability to fix the moonstone and along the way, Tinker Bell has learned many important lessons about the nature of friendship and how it's the most important magic of all.
In keeping with the Disney tradition of excellent animation and story-telling "Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure" uses the latest computer technology to create a magical fairy world that is populated by beautiful fairies, talking creatures and magical plants. Children and adults will also enjoy the familiar voices of the fairies, including teen pop sensation Jesse McCartney and Broadway veteran Kristen Chenowith. Another thing that children will surely enjoy is the addition of the song "Gift of a Friend" song by Disney talent Demi Lovatto, which is an extra on the DVD.
