Argosy University-Hawaii For Professionals And Graduates

Typically when one thinks of a University, young people who have recently graduated from high school come to mind as the typical student body. When one goes to graduate school, it is usually at an institute that offers predominantly undergraduate degrees. Not so with Argosy University-Hawaii. The school is a branch of Argosy University that was founded in 2001 when several graduate schools merged. The University of Sarasota, the Medical Institute of Minnesota and the American School of Professional Psychology came together as one and formed the Argosy University educational system.
The school was begun by and is run by a unique group of professionals who are experts in their fields. They offer students a unique blend of classroom education and real life, interpersonal focus that they believe better prepare students and current professionals who are enrolled as professionals for their work in the real world. Believing that in order to help others, we must be able to work together, they have come up with a very motivating and balanced chain of studies. While the University offers mainly medical degrees, Argosy University also offers degree programs and certification courses in criminal justice and business.
Argosy College has the following to offer students-the College of Education, the College of Health Sciences, the College of Psychology and Behavioral Sciences, the College of Education and the College of Business-from which to choose their path. The entire body of Argosy University includes campuses all across the country as well as online classes for those who are not in the immediate areas of Dallas, Atlanta, Chicago, Denver, Hawaii, Los Angeles, Inland Empire, Phoenix, Nashville, Orange County, San Francisco, Salt Lake City, San Diego, Sarasota, Tampa, Twin Cities, Schaumburg or Washington, D. C. Students enrolled at Argosy University-Hawaii may also take online courses to speed their progress.
There are many areas that students attending Argosy University-Hawaii can complete degrees in. Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, Criminal Justice, Counselor Education and Liberal Arts degrees can be completed at the school and credits can be transferred within the Argosy University system as well as other accredited universities nation wide. Many other professional certifications within these disciples can also be obtained through the University.
There was a new announcement recently that Argosy University-Hawaii will begin offering a new degree. Students wishing to pursue a Doctorate Degree in Education in Counselor Education and Supervision can now fulfill their requirements and obtain their degree at this campus.
The main Argosy campus in Hawaii is located on the island of Oahu but also has satellite campuses on Hilo and Maui. Services are limited at satellite locations.
