Save Money On Your Wedding Decorations

There are a variety of ideas for wedding decorations, and the bride and groom should pick one that goes with the style and theme of their day. It is often more economical to decorate in accordance with the season. For winder weddings, many brides get the benefit of booking churches and reception facilities that are already decorated for the holiday.

Many churches limit the type of decorating that is permitted. Some ideas include bows with flowers placed on each pew, flowers lining the aisle and of course large arrangements at the front of the church and also at the entrance. These arrangements should be in the same color palette as the bridal party.

Once you get to the reception facility, you are often given more creative license with decoration. If you are having a holiday wedding, evergreens with holly wreaths are beautiful and abundant. You can also have created snow with glitter to make the area seem even more festive. Each table centerpiece can be an evergreen or pine cone wreath with a candle in the center.

If you are having your reception at a restaurant, they may have decoration already in the room and they may even be willing to leave the general holiday table decorations out on each table.

If you use wedding decorations and flowers that are in season and easily available, you are more likely to receive higher quality and quantity for your money.

The alternative idea, if you are getting married around the holidays, is to have a beach theme. Have your guests wear sun dresses and Hawaiian shirts. You can give each guest a lei and use silk flowers to decorate, as they would be more budget friendly during the cold months. You can then have sand and seashells on each table as decorations and centerpieces.

If you like the beach theme, you can also decorate with anything that smells like the beach. If you have coconut scented candles or candies available to your guests, they will feel like they are on the beach enjoying your festive occasion. To go along with the beach theme, sand ceremonies are becoming popular. The bride and the groom each have a container full of sand and they pour their respective containers into one larger container to symbolize that they are now one and cannot be separated.

Whatever your decorating theme, remember to be creative and that there is an option for every budget. If you have not found what you want, keep looking, it is out there.
