The Libertarian Party of Texas is the third largest political party in the state of Texas and growing. In the last election we placed a record number of candidates on the ballot (173), had the alltime best performance in the US Senate race, and for the first time had a candidate receive over a million votes. We have full time paid staff that interact with our membership, the media, and the legislature every day. Last year our annual income from donations was about $144k. In turn we saved the taxpayers over a billion dollars in the last state legislative session. Therefore for every dollar in donations we returned over $7,410 in tax savings.

In 2010 we intend to set new records in the November elections. We are currently engaged in candidate recruiting through a statewide tour. We will be holding nominating conventions next year and preparing for the November campaign. Our team is motivated to offer a real choice for those that are socially liberal and fiscally conservative.
