Eczema on the face is a very big problem. It becomes very difficult to deal with eczema on the face because it can be very embarrassing. You might not want to look at it and at the same time, you cannot stop working for it.

You will still have to go out and take care of all your daily chores even if you have to face the eczema on the face.

The symptoms that are seen due to eczema on the face are more or less the same with eczema on any other part of the body. Dryness, itchiness and redness on the face are the usual symptoms.

In case the eczema is very severe, then you will also see additional symptoms like cracking of the skin and scaling, scabbing and even you might some fluid oozing out of it.

Eczema may happen to some of the people only on the face; however others have it on different parts of their body as well.

Eczema on the face can strike at any age, be it infancy, childhood or adulthood.

During infancy and childhood, eczema can occur and then it is known as atopic eczema. One month to six month aged babies usually get this kind of eczema. In this case, it usually occurs on the forehead of the face.


After this it can spread to the cheeks and slowly to the rest of the body.

While some children face this kind of eczema only on one spot, it is called localized eczema others face it on the rest of the body.

Constant itchiness, dryness and redness are some of the common symptoms in case of eczema on face.

Scratching the affected skin is not such a good idea as it might not only make that part thicker, it can also make it darker.

This is why it is a good idea never to irritate your affected skin especially if it is eczema on the face.
