With the spread of atrocities by both the army man and insurgents in hilly areas of the state is the testimony to bring back peace keeping. After killing of innocent people in remote and improvised terrain of Bhalessa is an example as the human rights violations led the area to become peaceful at large.

The credit to this irreversible tide goes to the people who become prey of the barrel of Gun from different sides. If one go in depth and see the situation today neither the Army man, nor Special Operation groups no the Pakistan sponsored insurgency seemed surfaced to get public support.

There are many areas practicing such a methodology for the endgame. The area like of Bhalessa in Doda was once known for dangerous portents.

Question arises in all the minds that why such immediate transition in early period. Is Army man responsible for these alterations? or is there any mass level campaigning to ensure peaceful atmosphere ?

Never, neither there was any agency of the government to end the atrocities, nor any political mafia. What is the real answer? Who put the cart back, who is involved? Who has given birth to national objectives? What are the forces, who are young unsung heroes responsible for such transition?

Of late, The Political machinery was absurdly poor, the so called healing touch Policy, Autonomy, and Article 370 drama remained in vain and what is being thought Is mass level initiatives of poor villagers of both the communities the pledge for the higher objectives.

Gone are the days when area like Bhalessa children were killed mercilessly, women were raped, atrocities was its head high in the hilly hamlet. Parents had to hide their children on their chests during the darkest nights.

The elderly of the area were harassed by Army man and Insurgents, some were killed and Human rights Organisation of the state and centre is still not in a position to probe the killings of innocent villagers. We have living examples of such killings.

Ironically, Dr. Mujeeb Ur Rehman- a scholar rated high in the realm of education in Bhalessa. He was the first researcher of the area who got a degree from the Aligarh Muslim University. This man with a vision was mercilessly assassinated by militants. The reason for the killing of this young scholar was that Sheikh Sahib spoke up for development and education and was a source of inspiration for the youth of the area. Packed with outstanding achievements in the area of education, he was the first researcher of the area to conduct an extensive study into India´s renowned Aligarh Muslim university.

Before a year, the things are limping back due to the semblance of normality as area lost a great scholar and other innocent children and women. The two communities are all set to have cordial relations in this otherwise backward area.
