Career Coaching 101
When one such entrepreneur was asked about the hardest decision he ever had to make, he answered that he didn´t know what a hard decision was. An entrepreneur will approach decision-making with the idea that there´s a strong likelihood that he/she will be wrong. This doesn´t dissuade them – to the contrary they just do the best they can and worry about handling obstacles as they arise.

Prior to serving as the Candidate Strategies Editor and Career Coach at Bradley-Morris, Inc., Tom was a senior partner at Career Development Corporation (CDC), where he provided guidance, counseling and coaching to separating military personnel since 1978. Tom graduated from the U. S. Naval Academy, served as a Surface Warfare Officer in the Navy, and completed tours of duty as a flag aide, communications officer, and administrative department head. This diverse background in technology, management, and leadership contributed greatly to his success in 30 years of counseling, and recruiting and placing more than 3000 individuals. Throughout his career he taught numerous transition courses and webinars, conducted many seminars on career and job change, and published dozens of articles on the career transition process. His work is regularly featured in such publications as Civilian Job News, Stars and Stripes, and G. I. Jobs. Tom lives on the coast of North Carolina with his wife, Julie, and their Chesapeake Bay Retriever, Maggie.
