Most Calvary Chapels are in the U.S. and Europe. Most of their affiliates are Evangelicals.

Because animals are so precious to them, most Calvary Chapel/Evangelicals teach that there will be pets in Heaven. But in Matthew 22:29-31, Jesus says: "… You are mistaken, not knowing the Scriptures nor the power of God. For in the resurrection humans neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels of God in Heaven. But concerning the resurrection of the dead, have you not read what was spoken to you by God …" There will be no husband-wife relationship in Heaven, but God will allow Christians to have their pets in Heaven? ?

Evangelicals: Our animals are so precious to us; surely we will have our pets in Heaven.

But in Luke 14:26-33, Jesus says: "If anyone comes to Me and does not hate his father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he cannot be My disciple. And whoever does not bear his cross and come after Me cannot be My disciple … whoever of you does not forsake all that he has cannot be My disciple." In Matthew 10:37, Jesus says: "He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me."

Calvary Chapel/Evangelicals paraphrase Romans 6:14 by saying: We are not under law, we are under grace.

But Romans 6:14 actually says: "Sin shall not have dominion over you, because you are not under law but under grace."

Pastors: It´s okay to enjoy the good side of Hollywood.

But in John 10:10, Jesus said: "The thief (Satan) does not come except to steal, kill and destroy …"

Pastors: But it´s okay to enjoy the good aspects of Satanic Hollywood. It´s okay for churches to support Mel Gibson´s Marian Catholic movie, The Passion of the Christ.

Pastors: It´s okay to go to the beach, surf, play, eat, drink and have some "Christian" fun, in spite of the fact that there are naked women at the beach. Go there to be a witness, let the world know that we are not the fire and brimstone type of Christians.

But Jesus says: "Likewise as it was also in the days of Lot: They ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built; but on the day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all. Even so it will be in the day when the Son of Man is revealed" (Luke 17:28-30).

Evangelical Pastors: Many issues are in the gray area. God´s Word is silent on those issues; therefore each individual is free to do as they wish on those issues.

But 2Peter 1:3-4 says: "God´s divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust."

Pastors: No, there are some issues that God´s Word does not address, and people are free to do as they wish on those issues.

But in Matthew 22:29 "Jesus said to the leaders, ´You are mistaken, not knowing the Scriptures nor the power of God." John 10:27 and 14:17: "My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me … the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him …"

Pastors are leading the sheep astray into God´s eternal wrath. Eventually, God will judge deceitful pastors for giving false freedoms to the sheep so as to gain the crowd and a "non-judgmental/loving world", as the sheep perish to hell due to compromised preaching. Acts 20:28-30 says: "… the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood … but from among yourselves men will rise up, speaking perverse things, to draw away the disciples after themselves." Romans 16:18 "For those who are such do not serve our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly, and by smooth words and flattering speech deceive the hearts of the simple."

How can they claim they see their dire need for Christ when they can afford to use their free-time for self-pleasure (entertainment) rather than seeking Christ? How can they claim they love Christ when they can afford to use their free-time with the world? How can they claim that Christ is their life when they get along with those around them?

Evangelical Pastors: Our women do not have to cover their head when praying or speaking God´s truth. 1Corinthians 11 is not meant for today´s Christian.

But 1Corinthians 11:10 says: "For this reason the woman ought to have a symbol of authority on her head, because of the angels." 11:13-15 "Judge among yourselves. Is it proper for a woman to pray to God with her head uncovered? Does not even nature itself teach you that if a man has long hair, it is a dishonor to him? But if a woman has long hair, it is a glory to her; for her hair is given to her for a covering."

Romans 3:31 "Do we then make the law void through faith? Certainly not! On the contrary, we establish the law."

Evangelical Pastors: Don´t be legalistic. Where in God´s Word does He restrict us from (fill in the blank)? Don´t be legalistic; there is no place in God´s Word where we are restricted from (fill in the blank). Jesus came to set us free and give us abundant life.

Genesis 3:1 "… the serpent (the deceiver) said to the woman, has God indeed said, you shall not eat of every tree of the garden?" 3:4 "Then the serpent said to the woman, you will not surely die."

GraceTruth7: Please don´t misunderstand me. A Christian is not required to keep Jewish Symbolic Laws (Sabbaths, hygienic/health laws, Kosha, etc). Colossians 2:16-17 "So let no one judge you in food or in drink, or regarding a festival or a new moon or Sabbaths, which are a shadow of things to come, but the substance is of Christ."

Pastors: We need to be culturally relevant and sensitive. We need to reach the world by "meeting them where they are", down to their level, to reach them. We need to be positive like today´s non-judgmental culture of love. We should not be negative.

But James 4:4 says: "Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God." In John 15:19, Jesus said to His followers: "If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you."

Pastors: We need to become like those we are trying to bring to Christ, so that we can win more people to Christ.

But 1Corinthians 9:21 says: "to those who are without law (i become) as without law (not being without law toward God, but under law toward Christ), that i might win those who are without law"

Pastors: Forgive yourself, love yourself, and believe in yourself because God believes in you.

But in John 12:25, Jesus said: "He who loves his life will lose it, and he who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life."

Pastors: You are wonderful therefore pat yourself on the back; rejoice in yourself. Low self-esteem is not good for you. Make sure you are always positive.

But in Matthew 5:3-4, Jesus said: "Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of Heaven. Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted." James 4:9-10 "Lament, mourn and weep! Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up."

Pastors: The fruit of the Spirit is love, and a big smile on your face.

But Ephesians 5:9-11 says: "… the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth), finding out what is acceptable to the Lord. And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them."

Most Calvary Chapel/Evangelical Pastors are going against the work that the true Jesus is trying to do. Jesus has a word for you pastors (see Matthew 18:6-9). Isn't God trying to deliver many teenagers from worldly passions, the idolatry of entertainment (Star Wars, love of sports, beach surfing) and all kinds of self-pleasure? Why then are pastors allowing children to get hooked on these things? Most pastors are quenching and resisting the holy work that God is trying to do in these children. God is trying to deliver many people from their love of T.V. stars, sport legends, dare devils, circus stars, etc. God is trying to deliver people from their bondage to show biz, and their rejoicing in human glory and pride. But Calvary Chapel/Evangelical pastors are telling people they can have fun. Therefore their people continue to have all kinds of idols in their hearts, and God is not pleased with them at all. God warns in many places such as 2Timothy 2:22 that we should flee from youthful lusts, but pastors are telling people: "It´s okay to have fun." Jesus has a word for you pastors (see Matthew 18:6-9).

The world along with most Calvary Chapels/Evangelicals make sacrifices (financially, and in many other ways) to have a Mary Christmas, but James (Yakob) 4:4 says: "Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God." 1Corinthians 10:19-21 "What am i saying then? That an idol is anything, or what is offered to idols is anything? Rather, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice they sacrifice to demons and not to God, and i do not want you to have fellowship with demons. You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons; you cannot partake of the Lord's table and of the table of demons." In Revelation 2:14-15, Jesus says: "But I have a few things against you, because you have there those who hold the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to put a stumbling block before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed to idols, and to commit sexual immorality. Thus you also have those who hold the teaching of the Nicolaitans, which thing I Hate." President Bush believes that Christianity and all religions are of the same God. Yet most Calvary Chapels/Evangelical Pastors say President Bush is a Christian.

Most Calvary Chapel/Evangelical Pastors say: "The fundamentals of true Christianity promotes freedom of choice." But Western ideal is the one that promotes the Pro-Choice mentality, not true Christianity. It is true that the God of the Jewish Scripture (Old and New Testament) created human beings with a free will (the capacity to rebel against their Maker) but He has never given anyone the freedom/license/right to choose sin rather than obey Him. He always commands us to choose His way. Concerning Joshua 24:14-15, all Israel knew that to serve any idol would bring the death penalty upon them by the God of Israel. But most Calvary Chapel/Evangelical Pastors say Joshua was offering them a choice between the true God versus idols. Not so. Acts 17:30-31 "… God now commands all humans everywhere to repent, because He has appointed a day on which He will judge the world …" God is not like the USA, giving people the choice of killing babies or not. God is demanding/ordering everyone to repent, and that kind of attitude is despised in the Western/American ideals which tells people to go ahead and choose whether to sin or do good. That worldly ideal has taken over in most Calvary Chapel/Evangelical churches. They preach a "good news" that does not demand. They preach a "good news" that tells people to go ahead and choose whether to reject the Jewish King or to accept Him.

In Deuteronomy 30:15-16, Moses said: "See, i have set before you today life and good, death and evil, in that i command you today to love the LORD your God, to walk in His ways, and to keep His commandments, His statutes, and His judgments, that you may have life …" God is commanding, but most Calvary Chapels and Evangelicals say He is offering people a choice of whether to follow Him or not. Joshua 24:14-15 "Now therefore, fear the LORD, serve Him in sincerity and in truth, and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the River and in Egypt. Serve the LORD! And if it seems evil to you to serve the LORD, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve …"

Calvinism teaches that God created some people to suffer (Hell) under His judgment forever and that such people cannot change that God-ordained decision. Quoting and agreeing with Chuck Smith of Costa Mesa, Pastor Bob Hoekstra said Calvinism and Arminianism are both taught in God´s Word even though we as humans cannot reconcile the two. Bob Hoekstra said we should stop wasting time in the secret things which belong to God alone (things which have not being revealed to us, referring to Deuteronomy 29:25-29). He said, on the issue of Calvinism and Arminianism we must conclude by saying "Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out! For who has known the mind of the LORD?" Contrary to these double-mouth pastors who are saying that God´s Word teaches both Calvinism and Arminianism, God´s Word says: "… God our Savior … desires all to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth" (1Timothy 2:3-4). The truth on this issue is not a hidden secret; God has revealed the truth to us concerning this issue. 2Peter 3:9 "God is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance." 2John 1:10-11 says: "If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not receive him into your house nor greet him; for he who greets him shares in his evil deeds." Yet most Calvary Chapel pastors consider Calvinists as their fellow brothers in the Lord.

Many U.S. Pastors teach that the U.S. is God´s nation. God says He has only chosen one physical land and race: Israel alone. Deuteronomy 7:6 was given to the Jews: "… the LORD your God has chosen you to be a people for Himself, a special treasure above all the nations on the face of the earth. YAH did not set His love on you nor choose you because you were more in number than any other people, for you were the least of all peoples; but … because He would keep the oath which He swore to your fathers, the LORD has brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you from the house of bondage, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt." But U.S. pastors say: God chose their own founding fathers and led them in making the U.S. a "Christian" nation. But in John 18:36, Jesus says: "… My Kingdom is not of this world. If My Kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so that I should not be delivered to … (crucifixion); but now My kingdom is not from here." Philippians 3:18-19 "Because many, of whom i have told you often, and now tell you even weeping … their end is destruction, their god is their belly, and their glory is in their shame--they set their mind on earthly things." But for those who truly belong to Christ, "… citizenship is in Heaven …" (Philippians 3:20).

Pastors: It´s okay to have an image of a dove, or a fish or a cross.

But God says: "You shall not make for yourself a carved image--any likeness of anything in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth" (Exodus 20:4). Deuteronomy 6:9 "You shall write My Words on the doorposts of your house (on your walls) and on your gates."

Pastors: It´s okay for us and our children to spend time in the good aspects of Hollywood, T.V., music and Disneyland.

But in Deuteronomy 6:6-9, God says: "And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. You shall bind these words as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall write these words on the doorposts of your house (on your walls) and on your gates." See Ephesians 5:15-16, Colossians 3:1-3, 1Corinthians 10:5-7.

Romans 13:14: "… put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its desires."

Evangelical Pastors: Don´t be legalistic. Enjoy yourself. Have fun. Enjoy your entertainment, sports and self-pleasures. We are free in Christ. God loves you just as you are.

Many pastors say that Christ ate and celebrated with sinners. But God´s Word shows that Christ fellowshipped with repentant sinners. In Matthew 10:11-13, Jesus says: "whatever city or town you enter, inquire who in it is worthy, and stay there till you go out. And when you go into a household, greet it. If the household is worthy, let your peace come upon it. But if it is not worthy, let your peace return to you." In Luke 19:7, the people complained that Jesus went to be a guest of Zacchaeus a sinner. But look at the type of sinner Zacchaeus was (Luke 19:8) "Zacchaeus stood and said, ´Look, Lord, i give half of my goods to the poor; and if i have taken anything from anyone by false accusation, i restore fourfold." Acts 16:15 "And when Lydia and her household were baptized, she begged us, saying, ´if you have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come to my house and stay."

Some Calvary Chapel/Evangelical Pastors say it´s okay for Christians and their children (in the U.S.) to continue in public schools (state indoctrination in the U.S.); that message travel to believers in countries such as China (Communist), and Islamic lands. Pastors say we must be the light in the darkness in public schools. But Acts 19:9 says: "when some were hardened and did not believe, but spoke evil of the Way before the multitude, Paul departed from them and withdrew the disciples, reasoning daily in the school of Tyrannus." Psalm 26:3-5 "God, Your lovingkindness is before my eyes, and i have walked in Your truth. I have not sat with idolatrous mortals, nor will i go in with hypocrites. I have hated the assembly of evildoers, and will not sit with the wicked." In Matthew 7:6, Jesus said "Do not give what is holy to the dogs; nor cast your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you in pieces."

God´s Word says we should not support ministries that teach errors. 2John 1:10-11 "If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not receive him into your house nor greet him; for he who greets him shares in his evil deeds." But most Calvary Chapels/Evangelicals say it´s okay for us to support Mel Gibson´s Marian Catholic movie The Passion of the Christ. Calvary Chapels and Evangelicals have invested/sacrificed thousands of dollars into Mel Gibson´s crafts/idols. 1Timothy 5:22 "Do not (approve of) anyone hastily, nor share in other people's sins; keep yourself pure." Yet Pastor Brian Brodersen of Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa approved that Marian Catholic movie in October 2003, months before the movie came out in February 2004. How sad; Calvary Chapel and Evangelical Pastors are quick in justifying themselves so as to join the world. Therefore many people have been set-up for more deceptions yet to come.

In Matthew 18:6-9, Jesus says "Whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to sin, it would be better if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were drowned in the depth of the sea. Woe to the world because of offenses! For offenses must come, but woe to that person by whom the offense comes! If your hand or foot causes you to sin, cut it off and cast it from you. It is better for you to enter into life lame or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet, to be cast into the everlasting fire. And if your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast it from you. It is better for you to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes, to be cast into hell fire."

Billy Graham and many top Evangelicals support Catholic churches, refer their people to Catholic churches and use Catholic priests during their crusades. They confess that their faith is basically the same with the Catholics. Chuck Smith strongly approves of Billy Graham. Twice i have heard him preaching against those who warn about Graham´s compromises. Chuck Smith approves of Rick Warren. More than twice i have heard him say: "There are many wonderful churches here in Orange County; Calvary Chapel is not the only good church. Rick Warren is a servant of Christ just like me because we believe the same essentials". Contrary to Chuck Smith, 1John 4:1 says: "Beloved, do not believe every spirit … because many false prophets have gone out into the world."

Pastors: It´s okay, celebrate Mary Christmas, New Year´s Day, Valentine, Easter, 4th of July freedom celebrations (in the U.S.) and alternative to Halloween.

But Jesus says: "Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it" (Matthew 7:13-14). James (Yakob) 4:4 "… Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God."

Singing with the world:

Most who claim to be Christian say it's okay to celebrate Christmas. But see what Jesus says in Matthew 7:13-14. Long before false churches merged with Emperor Constantine and the world, the Pagan world had festivals during the winter solstice in honour of their idols. Christmas started around 313-325 AD/CE when false Christians merged with Emperor Constantine of the Roman Empire. Before that time (in the New Testament) followers of Christ never celebrated Christmas. Those who belong to the true Messiah regularly remember and rejoice in the mystery that He came to this earth as a human being. However, they don´t celebrate with the world but with the few on the narrow way. A true Christian does not follow Pagan feast times. Idolatry is what´s taking place among the majority. The world is not following the true Messiah; they are following deceiving spirits. 1Corinthians 10:19-21 "What am i saying then? That an idol is anything, or what is offered to idols is anything? Rather, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice they sacrifice to demons and not to God, and i do not want you to have fellowship with demons. You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons; you cannot partake of the Lord's table and of the table of demons." Oh how people invest/sacrifice financially to have a Mary Christmas.

Many Evangelicals quote from Romans 14 and say: Do not judge me; it's okay to celebrate Christ with the feasts of the world (pagan). But 1Corinthians 8:9-13 says: "But beware lest somehow this liberty of yours become a stumbling block to those who are weak. For if anyone sees you who have knowledge eating in an idol's temple, will not the conscience of him who is weak be emboldened to eat those things offered to idols? And because of your knowledge shall the weak brother perish, for whom Christ died? But when you thus sin against the brethren, and wound their weak conscience, you sin against Christ. Therefore, if food makes my brother stumble, i will never again eat meat, lest i make my brother stumble." Romans 14:21 "It is good neither to eat meat nor drink wine nor do anything by which your brother stumbles or is offended or is made weak." Christmas is a powerful confusion/delusion. It is an offense to the kingdom of God. James 4:4 "… Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God."

Calvary Chapel/Evangelicals receive Hollywood´s Jesus (Mel Gibson´s The Passion of the Christ). Calvary Chapel/Evangelical Pastors do not realize that they are receiving Satan´s Christ by receiving Hollywood´s Christ.

Most Calvary Chapel/Evangelical pastors twist and misapply parts of Romans 14, and 1Corinthians 9. They use those scriptures to justify many things, as they allow themselves/their children to partake of all sorts of things (fads) that are common in the society. Calvary Chapel/Evangelicals´ guilt in this area is very broad because their twisting of those scriptures affects a lot of issues their people face in this confused culture. They use those scriptures to exit from the narrow way (Matthew 7:14). Concerning various issues of which Calvary Chapel/Evangelical Pastors consider as non-essential, my thoughts have often been: "This issue is a moral issue; it isn't a "minor/non-essential" as Calvary Chapel/Evangelical Pastors like to categorize all sorts of issues.

The following is a portion of Romans 14 which they misapply/refuse to understand.

Romans 14:1-5 "Receive one who is weak in the faith, but not to disputes over doubtful things. For one believes he may eat all things, but he who is weak eats only vegetables. He who eats should not despise him who does not eat, and he who does not eat should not judge him who eats, because God has received him. Who are you to judge another's servant? To his own master he stands or falls. Indeed, he will be made to stand, for God is able to make him stand. One person esteems one day above another; another esteems every day alike. Let each be fully convinced in his own mind (and do as he wishes)." It is lawless to use that portion of Romans 14 for issues regarding lifestyle or that we should not condemn wrong practices. Those verses only apply to physical/earthly things (foods, religious days, etc) not lifestyle/practice. Colossians 2:16-17 "So let no one judge you in food or in drink, or regarding a (Jewish) festival or a new moon or Sabbaths, which are a shadow of things to come, but the substance is of Christ." Paul agreed with his fellow Apostles as they concluded: "Take them (fellow Jews) and be purified with them, and pay their expenses so that they may shave their heads, and that all may know that those things of which they were informed concerning you are nothing, but that you yourself also walk orderly and keep the law (Jewish Symbolic Laws). But concerning the Gentiles who believe, we have written and decided that they should observe no such thing, except that they should keep themselves from things offered to idols, from blood, from things strangled, and from sexual immorality" (Acts 21:24-25).

Infinite is the difference between the Moral Law the Jewish God effects in those who are His, versus the Jewish Symbolic Laws of God. The original Apostles and Paul knew they were no more bound to the Jewish Symbolic Laws but concerning the Moral Laws, they had to continuously allow the Holy Sprit to live in them. Due to Calvary Chapel/Evangelicals´ unfaithfulness to God, one of the scriptures they refuse to understand properly is 1Corinthians 9:19-22, which says "For though i am free from all people, i have made myself a servant to all, that i might win the more; and to the Jews i became as a Jew, that i might win Jews; to those who are under the law, as under the law, that i might win those who are under the law; to those who are without law, as without law (not being without law toward God, but under law toward Christ), that i might win those who are without law; to the weak i became as weak, that i might win the weak. I have become all things to all people, that i might by all means save some."

The original Apostles sought to win people to Christ by any means but they could not approve of worldly things that rule the souls of people (e.g., pets, idols/passions). God has not called His own to be like the world so as to win the world. God has called those who are His to holiness through His mighty Grace. He has called them to be one with Him (different from the surrounding culture). They win souls with a lifestyle/culture that is different from the souls around them and they are persecuted for having that kind of holy life.

Due to Calvary Chapel/Evangelicals´ unfaithfulness to God, they pervert the following scriptures, 1Corinthians 10:23 "All things are lawful for me, but not all things are helpful; all things are lawful for me, but not all things edify." They use the phrase "All things are lawful for me" to justify their worldly ways. 10:31"Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God." If you read the surrounding verses, you will quickly see that you cannot use 10:23 or 10:31 to say "All things are lawful for me" "whatever". That´s deadly, but Calvary Chapel/Evangelical Pastors continue to change the narrow way into the broad way. The New Testament warned against these things before they began. Acts 20:30 "Also from among yourselves men will rise up, speaking perverse things, to draw away the disciples after themselves." Romans 16:17-18 "… note those who cause divisions and offenses, contrary to the teaching which you learned, and avoid them. For those who are such do not serve our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly, and by smooth words and flattering speech deceive the hearts of the simple." They cause division because they are teaching things that are contrary to the words of the Messiah and His original Apostles (the Scriptures).

Another verse they pervert is Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Due to their unfaithfulness to God, they refuse to understand that Christ will never strengthen anyone to be a 21st century ecumenical Politician, partake of beauty pageants, human glory, sports (boxing), partake of Disneyland, gun shows, car/motorcycle shows (parades), etc. Of course forsaking the world to follow Christ is never easy. Don´t misunderstand me; i´m not saying that true Christians do not struggle with forsaking their worldly passions. But the problem is this: Most Pastors are not even teaching their followers to forsake these things.

The Day of the LORD is near. On that Day, God will give the world blood to drink. Revelation 16:4-7 "Then the third angel poured out his bowl on the rivers and springs of water, and they became blood. And i heard the angel of the waters saying: ´You are righteous, O Lord, the One who is and who was and who is to be, because You have judged these things. For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and You have given them blood to drink. For it is their just due. And i heard another from the altar saying, ´Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are Your judgments." On that Day, it´s going to be death everywhere, worse than what God did to Egypt on the first Passover when He saved Israel from Egypt. The following is a good example of how Heavenly citizens (the children of Jesus) conduct themselves during Halloween: They approach it with soberness, the very opposite of how the world approaches it. They don´t give out or take candies, cookies, drinks, etc. They don´t conduct any "alternative to Halloween". They are not in the mood for music, fun, Disneyland, etc. They stay away from all of that because that´s exactly what the world does on Halloween. Such a people are Heavenly citizens by God´s own calling. They are not wearing any costume at all. In reaching out to the perishing world of death, they don´t use the mentality of fun (self-pleasures). They simply use a holy life and the Good News. Absolutely no angel costumes because our God already told us in Exodus 20:4 that we cannot make images of any thing in Heaven, or in the skies, or on earth or in the sea/waters.

Some Evangelical pastors say to their Churches: Revelation 19:14 is talking about us. That´s us, we will come with Christ to reign on this earth for a thousand years.

But Jesus says: "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of Heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in Heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ´Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?´ And then I will declare to them, I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness" (Matthew 7:21-23). Many Calvary Chapels/Evangelicals preach strongly against "being legalistic".

But Romans 3:31 says: "Do we then make the law void through faith? Certainly not! On the contrary, we establish the law." Jude 1:23 "but others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire, hating even the garment defiled by the flesh."

The Berean Call (Jan 07, Q.A. section): "But we are not told that carnality will keep anyone out of heaven ... Paul doesn't say that even the most carnal Corinthians are not saved" (http://www.thebereancall.org/node/2695).

But 1Corinthians 6:9-10 says: "Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals … nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God." Ephesians 5:6-7 "Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience. Therefore do not be partakers with them." 1John 3:6-8 "Whoever abides in Christ does not sin. Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him. Little children, let no one deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous. He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil."

Many pastors such as Rick Warren, and Joel Osteen trash the Word of God by preaching things such as self-esteem, self-forgiveness, love yourself, Psychotherapies, etc. Few teachers such as Hunt and McMahon of The Berean Call preach against them, yet they say those Psychotherapy pastors love the Lord Jesus and that those pastors are their fellow Christian brothers even though those pastors preach Selfisms and Psychotherapies as the saviour rather than God´s Word alone. But Jude 1:4 says "Certain men have crept into the church, unnoticed, who long ago were marked out for this condemnation, ungodly men, who turn the grace of our God into lewdness and deny the only Lord God and our Lord Jesus Christ." Isaiah 8:20 "To the law and to the testimony! If they do not speak according to this Word, it is because there is no Light in them."

1Corinthians 11:31 "If we would judge ourselves, we would not be judged of God."

In the Churches, judgment is turned away, truth is cast away. Anyone that turns away from compromise makes himself a prey. And the LORD saw it, and it displeased Him that there was no judgment. A horrible thing is happening: the preachers preach false things, and the churches love to have it so. But what will they do in the end when the coming Judgment finally arrives.
