A number of lodges and resorts operate in this area between May and September and during peak season between 150 and 300 boats share the water each day. Though this might seem like a lot of traffic one must remember that this is a very expansive area with many favorite places to fish. Not every boat will be hanging out at the same hot spot. At least, that is, not usually.

Because there is limited access to this area (via helicopter is the most reliable) the fishing grounds are shared with very few anglers over a season. Some days it will just be you and your clients or friends fishing these salmon rich waters from dawn to dusk. (Oh and by the way the halibut fishing is amazing too)
