This new paradigm is

Humanity Integrating

Spirituality with science.

The new paradigm involves the study

Of myths and conversions

From one belief system to another-

Socio-cultural conditioning-

Operant conditioning-

The adaptability of young children-

The disintegration of a mindset,

And what later fills that void.





This paradigm involves

Integrating the artistic, poetic, musical mind

With the scientific mind-

And so, what are these mindsets?

Is not creativity common to both?

The main question is,

Can we make a science of creativity?

Can we discern what creativity

Is and how creativity works

In the brain and in the mind

To convert one mindset into

Another mindset?





This conversion is the connection.

This conversion is the common ground

In mythology, poetry, religion,

Science and any other subject

In which conversions take place.

Conversion is where it's at.

Aha! Why didn't I think of that before,

As in "Eureka I have found it!"





In his conversion

Saint Paul saw the light

And was blinded and sickened

As was Gustav Theodor Fechner.

Maybe there was way too much light in their eyes

For their brains to tolerate.

Their brains shut down.

The conversion came with a great brightness.

No one understood the basic process.





First you can't change.

You resist the new idea.

You become ill and in your weakness

You can't resist the novelty.

In losing memory of the old,

The new rushes in and you receive it.

It is like being born again.

You feel an uplift, a healing blessing.

The new idea comes. The problem is solved.

It is like in algebra and in other puzzling subjects-





First there is the blockage and the attacks.

Then there is the giving up and the dormancy-

The incubation-

And then suddenly the light comes on.

You are surprised by the conversion process.

You see the way to solve the problem!

People say that you are bright!





This is the switch from

One pattern to another

Inside your brain.

The new idea hits you in a flash

Of insight.

But if you're not insightful,

You get few conversions by yourself.

You have to be taught the new pattern.

Paradigm is another word for pattern.

This is the new science, the new education,

The new social paradigm.





This is the introduction of

The integration and fusion of

Spirituality and science-

This new science of conversion and

Creative ideation.





This is the mixing of ice cream and cake.

Yes, even that idea was once new!

It was somebody's brainstorm!

Mixing the various subjects is done

By creativity.

The pieces of the puzzle

Suddenly meet and fit.





Yes!

The poet Yeats notwithstanding,

The center CAN hold.

Mere anarchy NEED NOT be loosed

Upon the world.

We are in the falcon's eye,

And we are in the eye

Of the falconer as well.

We are in the rope that connects

The falconer and the falcon.

The rope connects these two brains-

The brain of the visionary and

The brain of the engineer.

The camera's mechanism and the controlling intellect

Of the photographer.





The story of Saul,

The enemy of Christ

Converted to Saint Paul

The promoter of Christ

Is just one example

Of conversion.





When you compose five tunes

To fit the poem "Silent Night"

You forget each old tune

And create the new tune.

You do this five times.

You practice at being converted.

To be converted is your joy!





Another way of practicing conversion

Is to take a hundred blocks

And use them all to

Build a house.

You do this time times.

Each house is built by conversion.

You dismantle house number "N"

To create house number "N + 1."

And so it goes.

You learn to enjoy conversions

Inside of your brain.

Young children like to convert!





So how well do you learn?

How good are you at this process?

Study a thousand experimental subjects

In grade three,

In grade five,

In grade seven,

In grades nine and eleven,

And so forth.

There's a start to this new science.





Now don't tell me

There's no way to mix

Poetry, art, music, and science.

I've shown you one way,

By conversion that is creativity.

Perhaps you can think of more ways.





Each religion is created by people

Who have become more or less

Inspired that is to say creative.

The source of their inspiration was personified.

Ingenuity continued as new art,

New music, and other novelties were added.

New architecture built great monuments.

At the heart of each religion is

Conversion- the process of novel patterns

In the brain.

The details vary.

The conversion process remains universal.

Joy Joy Joy Joy!

That is the new social paradigm.
