Taste of Home Cooking School & Showcase Expo in Oxnard to Help FOOD Share, Nov. 4

$1 from every ticket purchased for Nov. 4 event will help feed the hungry in Ventura County, CA

(VENTURA COUNTY, CA) – The Taste of Home Cooking School & Showcase Expo in Oxnard on Nov. 4, 2009 will help feed the hungry. One-dollar of every ticket purchased will be donated to FOOD Share, Ventura County´s regional food bank. For each dollar FOOD Share receives, $7 worth of food can be provided to a family or individuals.

"Every dollar is a big deal during the holidays," said Bonnie Weigel, FOOD Share president and CEO. "At the Taste of Home Cooking School, attendees will be inspired to cook new recipes for their families and at the same time will be helping feed families throughout the FOOD Share community."

Brought to the community by the Ventura County Star and sponsored by Pacific Sales, tickets for the live cooking demonstrations at the Taste of Home Cooking & Showcase Expo are currently available for purchase. Ticket prices are $15, $20 and $25. Seats are limited.
