Media Continue To Push Phony Plame-Rove Story

With abject contempt for the facts and further refusals to admit the truth, the mainstream media and Democrat leaders continue pushing their bogus stories about Karl Rove. First of all, even the ‘journalist’ who initially ‘broke’ this story (Drama boy Matt Cooper) has told the grand jury that Rove didn’t mention Valerie Plame’s name. Cooper was the one who, with his call to Rove, certainly tried very hard to get Rove to mention her name. But, he failed. Second, Plame’s former CIA Supervisor, Fred Rustin, has now confirmed that Plame (during the referred to time frame) was an overt, not a covert, employee. Also, it has been reported that her neighbors knew that she worked for the CIA. Did Plame tell them? YIKES!!! Did Val “out” herself???

With all of the fake hoopla that the media has created—yes created—around the Rove story, the actual facts of this case have mysteriously been left out. As it now strongly appears that many knew about Plame’s CIA employment, from Valerie’s own mouth, should she now go to jail??? With the New leftist Dems foaming at the mouth and calling for Rove to be shackled and placed into public-view humiliation (for apparently doing nothing at all), I would certainly think that Ms. Plame should suffer (at the very least) the same fate for actually having done the deed! But, neither the press nor the Dems will chastise Plame. Plame and her husband Joe “I-don’t-care-how-many-lies-I’ve-told-believe-me-anyway” Wilson are liberal Democrats. So, they will be protected. Only Republicans—and especially conservative Republicans—are fair game for the press and the Dems. Heck, Joe “why won’t you believe me when I lie to you” Wilson has already said that even if Rove did nothing criminal, he should still resign! Why? Rove scares wimpy Dems and the press (same thing) to their distraction. He’s too good at his job.

But, let’s even take this scenario a step further. Even if Mr. Rove had leaked Plame’s name, and he did not, this idiotic media-and-Dem-faked-scenario still wouldn’t have been a crime. The 1982 law covering the outing of CIA agents specifically states that the CIA agent had to have been covert within the last 5 years (of said ‘outing’) and overseas at the time. None of these situations applied to Ms. Plame. The media already know this. However, you won’t hear it or read it from them. Like all of the Kool-Aid drinking liberal Dems, they have shown that they will do anything and everything and stop at nothing (lies are after all nothing new to the MSM) to get rid of President Bush. Karl Rove has been extremely effective—too effective for the Bush Administration. So, the press and the Dems hate him. In the same scurrilous manner as was attempted by CBS, Dan Rather and Newsweek, this is simply the latest media lunacy. Rove is simply their latest scapegoat.
