Time for Israel to Take Responsability for Area Atrocities

Benjamin Netanyahu´s speech to Parliament in Jerusalem on 10/12/09 denouncing the United Nation's report which accuses Israel and Hamas of war crimes during the Israeli offensive in Gaza last year and vowing to refuse to let Israelis be tried for such crimes against humanity is only the latest sanctimonious rhetoric coming from this man in his decades of atrocities against his Arab neighbors.

The state of Israel in general and Benjamin Netanyahu in particular have to be held responsible for the death and destruction brought to Gaza last year. Hamas is also responsible for the Israeli invasion and for keeping the violence going. Neither side is free of guilt of the killing of thousands of innocent civilians and should be held solely responsible for their actions against humanity.

Since the state of Israel was created and given to the Jews in the 1940's by the good graces of the United Nations in return for the pain, suffering, and deaths of millions of Jews in Germany and Nazi controlled parts of Europe the Jewish people have essentially been at war with their surrounding Arab neighbors since day one. It has not been an entirely one sided affair of aggression by the Arab world against the Israelis during all those years as Israel is responsible on many occasions during this time of inflicting much more pain, destruction and death on it neighbors than they have ever dreamed of inflicting on Israel.

The count of deaths resulting from wars and conflicts involving Israel and Arab Nations since Israel became a state would have around 1000 Arab Deaths to every 10 Israeli killed during this time.

Since the state of Israel was created for and given to the Jews by way of dissolving the sovereign state of Palestine and kicking legitimate Palestinian citizens off the land and out of their bought for and paid for homes that they occupied for generations. It does not seem like such a dastardly idea that the world thinks Israel and its people should finally take responsibility for the atrocities against its Gaza neighbors. In light of decades of such atrocities, which were much more destructive and resulted in more deaths altogether than the Gaza invasion could ever have wrought. It is about time the world stood together and force this lawless nation to finally pay for this fraction of pain and injustice in the face of the years of much worse.

The world in general and the United States in particular are so diligent in their goal of disarming such considered rogue nations like Iran and North Korea for the sole purpose of keeping the world safe from mentally unstable rulers with so called agendas of domination we are forgetting and ignoring the fact that the state of Israel is much more dangerous than any of the before mentioned.

We need a level political playing field.
