Why do I need an education?

These are the words of a 10 year old native boy when his teacher (White) told him he needs an education.
Imagine not being rich and from a young age your told;
Imagine not having to worry about school or your education!
Imagine not having to worry about where your next dollar will come from!
Think about it some more - You don't have to worry or concern yourself about your next meal!
You don't have to worry about the roof over your head!
You don't have to worry about your transportation!
You don't have to worry about medical!
What, you don't even have to worry about you cloths either!
The phone and hydro is all paid for!
No your not rich, or anything like that.
Imagine talking to a young native man and he says he doesn't have to worry about all this. He was told the white man pays us a check. Think these people are prejudice against the ones who give to them.
Can you imagine being Canadian but white and derelict and homeless on the street, Oh but wait something is being done about the white homeless on the street, But the Olympic games won't last for ever.
Kind of reminds me of 2 natives in this fancy hotel trying to get a room, and the clerk said do you have a reservation? The 2 natives said "No" we have a treaty. Is that now the mind set where every thing come free.
They speak of the saving the environment, but who will save the white man?
Will they take time to help stop global warming with the research that is needed? We are broke!
