2012

Having seen the preview of the movie 2012 makes you kind of wonder, could something so catastrophic actually happen? It strikes a certain familiarity about what Nostradamus and other prophecyers have long indicated, that mankind has laid the groundwork for the total destruction of this planet. History reminds all of us thou that the planet we all inhabit has had a very violent past where disasters on an epic scale occurred every 10,000 years or so. Movies like The Day After Tomorrow and Armageddon even though they are meant to entertain us, the concept of the movie in general is literally taken from events or circumstances that have or could happen. The book of Revelations tells us of the 4 Horsemen of the Apocalypse rendering plagues, death, destruction and famine. Already in parts of the world today comes a pretty close imitation of the 4 Horsemen or could it be actually the beginning of the onslaught of total annihilation of man?

Every human being is bestowed with the innate ability to chose, make decisions, and respond to circumstances that occur through-out life. Education is vital in enabling every individual to choose wisely in all decisions. Leaders of business and of nations also must make decisions that affect every man, women, and animal. Scientific and medical advances have made it possible for mankind to live longer and prosper. Yet, in many instances people's decisions have thwarted the ability of many to live longer and prosper. and in fact have made this planet almost uninhabitable. They have chosen unwisely and put self interest, greed, and a wanton desire to control, manipulate, and even destroy those things that are precious. Can mankind survive and actually reverse the trend of destruction of each other and of our planet? The answer lies with the decisions we all choose.

The United States Government, leaders of nations, and of business have an unprecedented opportunity to resolve and unite in a common purpose to stop aggression everywhere, eliminate global famine, and plant the seeds of education for all humanity so that generations of man will live longer and prosper. Is time running out? Maybe, but, one thing is certain the human race can't keep destroying each other whether it is through armed aggression or through the pollutants that are continuing to flow into the oceans and waterways, the atmosphere, or the very soil we plant and harvest our food.

Today, now more than at any time in history the technology that is being developed and has already been deployed is making some progress is reducing the enormous amounts of green house gasses that continue to be dispersed into our atmosphere. But, until we fully eradicate and totally stop this catastrophic condition of global warming the planet will continue to cause more devastation through-out the world. The United States has not only an obligation but a moral obligation to totally resolve to eliminate any and all fossil fuel consumption and rely totally on natural and ever abundant solar, wind, and natural gas for all are energy needs. No longer can the citizens of not only the United States but the entire world afford the continue use and the products that are directly related to the use and gathering of fossil fuels.

The longer we wait for the leaders of Industry and of governments to realize that their is a realistic way to resolve the many crisis today, in particular, the Energy problem of not having enough affordable, abundant, renewable energy, this nation will continue to be a contributor to a major disaster in the making. The time to unite and act with the solutions that are already available is at hand. Only through this common ground we call life can the citizens of the world live longer and prosper.
