Israel Should Escalate Its War Against Hezbollah

In response to Israel's decision to expand its ground offensive in southern Lebanon, White House press secretary Tony Snow said: "We want an end to violence and we do not want escalations." But continuing the violence and escalating the war is precisely what the United States should urge Israel to do.
The current conflict between Israel and Hezbollah is a crucial battle in the war between Western civilization and the Islamic totalitarians who want to destroy it.
The United States and other Western countries should not only encourage and help Israel to destroy Hezbollah, they should act to bring down the terror group's sponsor, Iran.
The sooner we in the West engage and defeat this regime, the safer we will be.
